It’s a zalto for the poor just like me Im only 19 years old who just started wine which makes me impossible to buy expensive glass like zalto that’s especially very expensive in my country but this one is really affordable and the shape looks so good Thank you for the reviews!

I agree. I bought many of this outstanding Definition Glass in white, Bordeaux and burgundy, the latter being the most impressive of the lot. The thinness and elegant design is directly comparable to the much pricier Zalto, and I'm not really sure why anyone would spend so much more on Zaltos. Hands down the nicest glass I ever owned.

I'd like to try the Spiegelau Definition out; thanks for the recommendation! Personally I've found the Conterno Sensory glass to be the best for brunello and amarone when I tried those wines side by side with Ridel Superleggero Cabernet/Merlot and Syrah. And of course it is my go to glass for barolo and chardonnay. But it's not cheap so I will keep the Sensory to myself and let my guests use the Definition!

Great video! I have my eyes on the Spiegelau definition as well. Does it pretty much feel like hand blown? Or it could still tell it’s machine blown?

Thank you---It is an elegant glass for machine blown - I can tell it is machine v. hand blown. The price is attractive and unlike a hand blown piece I am not too worried if I break it. It is such a great glass and use in many of my reviews.

Just received it and must say I’m extremely impressed! Very light and elegant. Big base, thin stem and beautiful shaped bowl. Looks almost exactly like a Zalto….but at a fraction of the price! Look forward to your review of it!

tried it last night with a 2001 Tignanello and the glass did an incredible job on the nose and palate but then again it was a Tig 🙂Love the glass @@jamesthewineguy 👍

Yes, I use for white wines as well as red wines.

The zalto shape is all style over substance for me personally. I like riedel far better in terms of aroma/taste. Spiegelau/Zalto do look and feel nice but it's lacking in performance.
