I have quite a few regrets not standing my ground and allowing people to disregard my boundaries right after having my son, like people visiting at the hospital- did not want that either. The worst was people coming over 1 week after birth that I was guilted into. I was so hormonal and tired, i was crying and so overwhelmed by having people over that I just stayed in the bedroom crying while my bf took the baby downstairs and I was SO upset my baby was taken away from me to see people I wasn't ready for so my bf brought him back to me after 30-45 min cause I could not handle it anymore. THEN mil practically barges in my bdrm while im pumping and holding my son just to tell me "it is okay you feel this way" yet she still complains to this day "we only saw him for 45 min after travelling hours to see you guys" to other family members. Like nobody even invited you in reality..Ugh. Just stick to your guns! That's all I gotta say. You are the mother and whatever you decide is what is best ❤ i am such a people pleaser but making big strides now that I am a momma. So excited for you!

I’m cracking up at the part where you’re talking about how modesty goes out the window- I don’t even like getting Brazilians…with my first during birth it’s amazing how you can be spread eagle with 10 nurses in the room, ass out, changing pads after and you don’t even think twice 😅

Be prepared, with both my pregnancies it felt like it was going so slow and once that 20 week point hit it seemed like five minutes later the baby was being born haha

I never felt like my person was out there. Like Julia, I almost gave up and deleted all the apps. Until I found my boyfriend and now we have been together for nine months. It’s been amazing. I’m horrible at texting and so I always prefer calling. He doesn’t mind either. The right person, will be there no matter what’s happening. We had a great connection throughout dating. I was definitely unsure about it at first. Once I gave it a chance, it really changed my perspective. I truly enjoyed all the dating advice and stories. It shows, none of us are perfect but there is someone out there for everyone. I truly believe that. Look at Gypsy Rose. Bad example but still. I love the background Sam. So I also want to encourage to just go with the flow and do what feels good to you. genuine question... how can you be sure he will be a good father and/or husband for life when you've only been together a month or two? 😳 since you've probably never had a major issue/argument and seen his worst sides and vice versa..... food for thought to anyone else as well
