Cierto.
@@Larax000There is truth to that statement but if you compare the music from different generations there are losers and there are winners, different levels of talent, style, musical prowess and so fowarth. Objectively music has gotten worse particularly now what's considered modern and popular. I feel sorry for the young people now and the trash they are exposed to and think it's good, they have been cheated by the industry and media ( the people who tell you what's cool )
@@derekcarter3470 I’d say it’s subjective. My grandfather absolutely hates 90s music and kinda sounds like you 😂❤️ He really can’t understand how it went downhill compared to the previous stuff.
@@Larax000 I'm a musician. That being said I like a wide range of music and have studied all eras and learned how it's put together. It's not subjective, it's objective truth that there are differences in many categories.
Oh it was an amazing time. People got along, movie and music were one of a kind and then of course the American Left was actively destroying this country.
Hard to answer: Van Halen's Dance the night..., Little Guitars, Can't stop loving you are good candidates. The Police's Every Little... or So Lonely also make me feel so good. Man, I'm already feeling like hugging everyone in the world...
It's pretty much the same. This is live I understand but the really high notes on the original he can't hit. For example, the oh...oh...your majesty...he sings in a higher octave. However unfortunate, any voice coach will agree that voice changes with age.😕
We just saw them in Oct of 2023 at Sunfest in Ocean City MD and they are still as good as in this video from 2011. It was a huge crowd on the beach and everyone was into it. Pretty damn impressive.
It bums me out to see the bands I loved as a kid get so much older. Then again, I'm 44 years old, so it happens to the best of us. Long live Nightingale's and Wetlands!
Oh don't be such a downer dude! Be happy that they're as old as they are and their playing is still killin it! I'm 48. Saw SD in Boston.. they were sooooo stoned so all their tunes were slower.. they really weren't very good on that show. So to my ears, this sounds a lot better than that show 20 years ago!! Be happy :)
+BloodRavyne The Guitarist and Bass player make this song. It is a an odd tempo--that they keep going exquisitely. Nice dance between Instruments/ Musicians.
Uhhh, no it doesn't. It sounds good but not near as good as the original. The lead singer is a little off as well. Still a good performance, just not great.
To all the beautiful girls that visited Pelekas, Corfu in '92. You, along with this song made an old man very happy... This one song has evoked so many memories. It was THE SONG of the summer! ❤
Wow his voice is still as good as twenty years ago. The most uplifting song ever recorded. It's impossible to feel bad when listening to it. guitarist is awesome
yeah.....aaron coomes is the drummer and a great friend of mine!! im doing a show in lake george ny with them this weekend and cant wait to see him as we were on the joan osborne gig together as well!! he's a bad ass and can play the shit out of a guitar also!!
I saw these guys in Phoenix with Soul Asylum and Screaming Trees. They killed it man! Drummer had so much groove it was sickening. Everyone in the group are top notch but I’ll always remember Aaron’s timing and groove.
This song was released on the Spin Doctors debut album Pocket Full Of Kryptonite which launched in August 1991. In summer of 1992 Radio and MTV boosted two of they're hits. Two Princes didn't just reach nr.7 at Billboards Hot 100 it became the most played song on radio worldwide that year. Now that is sick. Only a Spin Doctor can manage to operate and succeed on that one
@@mamasaurusrex3832man they actually came to my little town in Indiana and was stoked to go when I heard about it, then life happened and I forgot lol such a bummer.
Hello!!! How are you doing today, please pardon me for intruding into your privacy but I just wanted to know if you’re a fan ? Have a great day…Stay Safe!
Marry him, marry me I'm the one that loved you baby can't you see? Ain't got no future or family tree But I know what a prince and lover ought to be I know what a prince and lover ought be... Good song!)
I’m 42 years old and a musician. I started out playing drums when I was around 9 and bass at around 11. Guitar at like 12. That being said, There was a handful of bands that just spoke to me at a young age. Especially bass and drums. This was one of those bands. Even as a child, I was moved by the sound of funk, soul and blues. Years later, I’m a seasoned session musician and these guys played a part. I remember learning those slap notes on the bass from Jimmy Olson’s blues lol. Lastly, Aaron is a VERY underrated drummer! He puts on a “pocket” clinic every time.
Never in the world expected this to be as good as it is. Loved the original and wasn’t expecting a live performance to beat it by a long long way! Feel great after watching it 😄
When music was still great. This crowd doesnt deserve to hear this 90's classic.. Dude this guy is ducking amazing! Nothing but good vibes from him! The most uplifting song ever recorded. It's impossible to feel bad when listening to it.
This is evidence that Nostalgia is a helluva drug, because there's no way I thought I would ever be listening to the Spin Doctors and thinking, "Ya know, the early nineties were pretty awesome!"
drums groove is amazing he took a selfie while singing, what a lovely vocal :) I wouldn't want to live in the 90's again but DAMN it's nice to visit them once and awhile!
Ha'...I was there at this Gig-with my 2 sons who were treating me...as I had brought them up-listening to the Spin Doctors when they were nippers....we were sat next to the guy with the camera upstairs left. It was brilliant...we even got to meet the band after the show.
Legendary, brings back all sorts of cool memories from my youth. i recently had the song in my head after many years and went on a mega mission trying to identify it to people on the internet by do do doooo's. I got it in the end . people are awesome!
I love that the lead guitarist plays an Epiphone flying V. Those older Korean Korinas are amazing guitars! As you can see, all he did was upgrade the pickups!
