America’s ALL NEW RACE INTO SPACE begins like a slingshot! Now we need another 5 years and 250 million dollars to maybe break int space travel to get “back” to launching important satellites into orbit, and go “back” to the Moon and on to Mars by 2040 AND BEYOND!? (bet!?). Boys and gurls, it’s gonna take some 50k year-old technology to be developed from 1960s abandoned programs AGAIN - this time it’s slingshots OH BOY! The gun tests were done and abandoned in the 1960s, but like the Dharma initiative it lives on in some people’s minds, they can’t do it yet here on urf just yet because they need more money, more fancy tests that are EXPENSIVE but we gotta reduce the carbon footprint and go electric! 2.2 million tons of steel and a statue of liberty later, the project is just getting started to one day go to space! It’s hard/easy to imagine… Like an ALL NEW detergent that REALLY cleans!
