Thank you for your videos. They are much more helpful than my anatomy script. Is there any video that deals with the specific tracts names and functions? As the requirement in my school is to know them all very profoundly. Thanks

great video! at times though it's distracting the fact that white matter is represented in the drawing with gray color while gray is represented white

Yes that is a good point. I used myelin stained tissue as reference and it didn't even cross my mind until later.

The way I understand things the entire spinal cord is a cluster of nerves. Lymph follows the same pathways and some lymph goes up through the dark matter and descends via the white matter...or vice versa. Lymph is a special lubricating solution, an aqueous fluid, which lubricates all sphincters in the body and as all nerves feed these sphincters we know that lymph does too. Sphincters are everywhere and the living cell has them also, especially designed to allow arterial and venous blood in and out of the cells. But, of course, it can all break down because of the mismanagement of our lymph. It's all part of my Biblical study.

Dear professor, thank you for always posting amazing videos! I would like to ask you though if there is a video in which you describe the difference btw white rami communicantes vs grey rami communicantes pls?

WHY would you use diagrams that have the white/grey matter coloring switched?? Halfway through the video the inner/outer coloring flips, which is so confusing. I love your videos and have used many to pass my med school exams, but this made me so frustrated!
@TheNotedAnatomist
@TheNotedAnatomist 7 месяцев назад
I agree … I didn’t realize the colors are switched until after I made 200 slides and at that point, I did not have it in me to change it

The Noted Anatomist any chance you'd continue your video series? You have by far the best explanations to anatomy lessons and you really make lessons easy :( thank you for your videos!

thatnks, but why no one combines these two parts (gray and white matter) and show it all in dynamics? - I am still not able to see the connection between gray and white matter...because it's presented separately by all anatomists out there. Seriously, why not to show both in its intricate interpay...to give a whole picture? Thank you.

@@TheNotedAnatomist thank you, I'll take a look...but yesterday, after a frenzy and lots of efforts (up to a light migraine which I suffer from), I finally understood the connection between the two matters. I had to shovel through a bunch of material and later in the night, at 1-2 in the morning, after studying all day, I finally understood the connection between gray and white matter .

On minite 3:35 the descending pathways for corticospinal tracts goes for medial for cervical and lateral for sacral.
