Is it possible to press the spindle out and leave the bearings in place? I need to send my spindle out for regrind and they want just the spindle not the housing.
Last time I filled a spindle bearing (NN3014 tapered bored bearing) I calculated the grease pack to 5.5mL. It depends on bearing air volume and the maximum speed of the application (lower rpm more grease)
