Hello and welcome to my channel!
In this video I show my process of spinning two test yarns, (in the next few weeks I want to spin 200g of an art yarn and a complimentary yarn). I am going to donate these two yarns as prizes for a raffle to help the Chilean dyer and designer ‪@misterwool‬ who was injured in a car accident at the end of February, 2023.
In this video I use the following equipment:
Ashford Wild Drum Carder
Ashford Traditional Spinning Wheel with a jumbo flyer
Ashford Country Spinner 2
I am really pleased with the results, and now I just have to choose which colors I want to use for the prize yarns.

such gorgeous yarnn. This is why I decided to learn to spin, seeing people make beautiful things with beautiful yarns they had spun themselves. And even though I am a very beginner I have a couple of yarns I am very pleased with and I can see immense possibilities. I have 3 large boxes of fibres left over from when I was felting, mostly merino tops but with lots of other fibres as well. Excitiing! Thanks for sharing.
