Everytime Daniel goes on a break and says he's feeling good, he's locked in, he's got chips, you know when it comes back he'll be all-in fighting for his life lol.
I feel like he's got to stop filming so much when he's actually playing at the table. It's distracting him, clearly. Just look at his results from this year pre-WSOP.
@@johnnyhunter - That is exactly it. Save all that shit for afterward, then you can put a video together, even if you have to re-enact it on a home table.
kinda cool to see all the people dnegs presence effects, you see so many normal poker dads in their 40s and 50s double and triple looking at dnegs then smiling wide. you know they are texting their kid or fam or friends saying i just saw dnegs vlogging, dude walks by people and can make their day/trip without even interacting. shows he's one of the goats and everyone respects the success
yeah I love the guy but there's only so long you can use the excuse of running bad. I've seen his play, I've spoken to players that play against him, he just plays far too many hands and convinces himself he is always making the right move. Every video the last 2 years seems to be "playing well, got a good stack" then an insta-cut to him all in.
Does this guy simply play roulette on stream as his only source of income? If so I imagine he's getting paid stacks for referrals. Most likely targeting an underage market.
Daniel, I went to buy you pint 17 years ago in Solihull, England. You ended up paying in the end and then we had a good old chat about snooker. Happy memory.
DNegs I met you today after you bagged your stack in the 25k. Thank you so much for turning around for another Canadian kid. Been following your vlogs everyday. Forgot to tell you thank you. Your vlog taught me how to tell my wife how to turn on the shower the first night this trip. Haha. True story!
It's a couple days late but what I like about watching your video's/blog is you're honest, open about your life/play etc. You tell it like it is but not hurtful like a lot of others.
Was so happy to see Depaulo in your vlog. That's awesome of you to back him. The true fans of poker love him and it's great to see you root for the every man's man. Props to you.
Been a fan since I saw your biography. I appreciate your mindset and approach to poker. You had a great family growing up. Your parents’ generosity with food and drinks for guests reminds me of my parents. Hope to play against you some day!
Yeah, I remember when you came to play bingo when I was on holiday in Skegness 66 years ago. You were wearing a Barbie T-shirt and crocs. It was awesome. We had a blast.🤣🤣🤣
I sat at my first table last week because of you. I have fallen in love with the game. Your vlog of you getting ready took so much stress off of me. Im not sure i would have ever been able to get over myself and actually show up and show out without you. Thank you...
Great content buddy, really enjoying it for a number of years now. I'm not sure really though how dialed in you are Daniel. For a player of your elite ability how many times can you finish in top 20 etc without a decent run at the final table? It's OK getting results in a small pool. But here, cream over all should rise to the top at some point, how long does this wait go on for a serious shot at a bracelet. I question because of your notoriety the many things you must have to deal with as way of photographs etc is this taking the sting out of you.
Since some dude stated that he saw Daniel in Kentucky at the Continental Inn, playing pool in a hockey jersey, then it is abundantly clear, that Daniel Negreanu has been everywhere!
Lmao immediately when I heard the name Ran I knew exactly what ya'll were talking about (and his accent lol). Did you sing the Phil Hellmuth song for him?
Just swapped all of my last ETH and swapped it into AMS46K. Already up a little bit. Unfortunately I have some other junk staked which won’t free up for a while. Still now I am on the train!
Alright Daniel I got to know...how much does a coffee setup like that in your kitchen go for? Great to see Ryan DePaulo in the vlog also. Good luck to ya buddy!
look up Wolf built expresso machine and you can see the exact one he has with price. You can buy a stand alone unit does the exact same thing and for a nice one 1k-2k
Daniel can you clarify why that J3 shove is correct there? I understand blinds and the positioning but it just seems incredibly risky, especially for someone of your skill to risk it all there. What does the math need to be with the blinds and stack sizes to justify that shove with basically rags?
If you look at the stacks during there are only 3 yellow chips in the pot so he was def short stacked 10bb max. J3 in SB is a great shove because most of the time the BB will just fold. Even if they call you now usually have a pure flush draw and the jack likely isn’t dominated so it would be a good 40% against non pocket pairs
Cool Vlog. I dont comment often and you obviously have decades of experience. Just thinking that starting on a massive high in energy could be detrimental if cards have another plan and results dont come for a while. Energy is a tricky thing where if you deploy too much, too soon and results dont come straight away, you can get exhausted.
So you wanna be a poker pro? Better have deep pockets for long days like this. I found it impressive that Daniel was able to stick to his game and maintain a positive attitude. I woulda needed a 12-24 hour timeout.
i remember you in Kentucky too, said youd come over to fish and relax but ended up havin couple beers with us and we all laughed because your hockey jersey got stuck to the pool table from a beer stain. nice fella
Espresso, cold pool plunge, hot tub sit, sauna, cold plunge, overhead shower. Then go exercise/cardio in the sun for 45 minutes. Then one last shower and the day is yours for the taking.
Dan N look you need to buckle up and bear down and start taking your tournaments seriously! You’re the best start playing like it. The main event is where you need to start old school grinding! Take it seriously! Let’s go take it down!
That seems to happen a lot, you are ready to fold and you hit a card that helps you. Enjoying you videos, you have a blast. So funny I typed “blast” as you said the word. Jinx your it. David from Santa Barbara.
Enjoying the vlogs Daniel. Not to criticize, but wasn't the plan this year to chill a bit more when you are not feeling up to play? Got the impression that after the first 1500 you maybe could have gone home to save some energy and start fresh on the 10k the next day? You obviously know your body better then we do. Was just a thought. Best of luck in the next tournys :)
I enjoy watching his videos. It actually makes me feel better about my game. I used to think rotten luck only happened to me. I just need to learn how to handle the bad beats. How do you make a living at poker with all this losing...
Why aren’t you endorsing all these things I wait every year for the vlogs but I can only imagine how mentally and physically draining this all is not only your battleing for a championship/bracelet with highly rated and respected professional and still thinking how to make content I admire you so much brother
Haha Barak Wisbrod on your 1,500 tables is one of the top crushers online right now. Up millions in the nosebleed cash and crushed the high stakes tournaments
Do pro poker players use the low stake games as warm up for the higher stakes games or just for the fun of it? Personally, I think it’s good for poker to see the pros among the amateurs- it’s great for inspiration 🎉
@@RyanDepauloDegenerateGambler yea i watched that today and that's what made me think that he might be giving some advice. Just thought it would be a cool video segment for us fellow degens to hear what advice Daniel would give. anyways good luck go get bracelet #2
