I'm glad they kept the Spino look from the movie. Granted the new information on its looks and shape is likely closer to reality judging by what it ate and its lifestyle being mostly aquatic in nature...That JP3 look is just badass.

Can you actually focus on the dinosaurs in death animations rather than the landscape...

During my playthrough, when I was on Sorna, a tornado unleashed one of my Spinos and it found its way into my Indominus paddock and kicked its ass and then before I could tranq it, it ran back to its paddock. I was kinda pissed because I invested a millions of dollars into that Indominus and it took forever to incubate. Next time I play through Sorna I am keeping my Spinos in their own section of the island away from the other carnivores.

Lot of recent research has shown that Spino was probably a fish eater and has relatively light bone structure, despite its size. It is believed to inhabit marshes and rivers. The Rex was a true land animal - large and powerful and would have most likely killed Spino with ease, if they ever actually got into it.

Before everyone start saying here comes the Spino fanboys. Last time with the modified T Rex, the Rex fanboys did the same. My point is, both fanboys can be annoying as fuck. But ingame, the Spino does have slightly better base stats. So while they are even, Spino has the slightest edge. Plus, Spino has more open gene spots, so it’s potential is technically greater as well. Plus, it’s been established the Spino from JP3 was a super predator and actively attacked Rexes. These are not opinions, they are facts. Plus this is a JP game, it ain’t suppose to be realistic.

The Spino is without a doubt bigger than the T. rex but it doesn’t mean it would win against a Rex. This game gets so many things wrong on so many levels.

It has been confirmed that the Tyranosaurus Rex was the queen/king of the jurassic period. However the spinosaurus was also strong but not a match for the T.REX.
