In the future world shaped by AI, it’s people like this who will be truly invaluable experience. This jungle set is amazing and CRAZY SKILLS Thank you Spinscott for this SET!
This was sick bro, love the way you chopped up all the classics, Congo natty, super sharp shooter, etc never seen someone finger drum a whole jungle set 😂 but as a DJ and producer, and massive jungle fan for over 30 years I love it 😊
Thanks, and always good to hear from a fellow Junglist. I definitely like to do a few of the live remixes of classics during these performances, can always spot the oldschool heads in the crowd with them. :)
Awe that’s good man next time you’re across the pond I’ll deffo get a few people together and come and check you out live especially in the London area as I’m in south east 👍🏻 im gonna listen to the whole set again on my big peavy speakers hope my neighbours like jungle 😂
JUNGLE'S MASSIVE! feels like more people gotta appreciate what Spin's doing there LIVE. I would jawdrop if witnessed such a guy in a booth. and ofcourse rip up that floor. keep it up m8 !!!! f-ing love it
Fav set of the whole festival, been following you for years now and it was so so sooooo cool to see you finally! Felt like part of my life is finally complete and I can't wait to see you again! Jungle 4eva
listening again while driving, Love the samples from Scotty IIII got that on vinyl from 1994 😂 6 million ways samples also work so well with the MPC - 10, 9, 8 on each button can play around with that 🎉
Thanks! Drift is one of my favorite Jungle tracks of all time. When Photek himself commented on my post of that live version a while back, it was a life moment for me. :)
not sure why this guy is not yet sponsored by big brands... what he does with the limitations on the MPC is short of extraordinary... I wish the best for him! Spinscott, come over to Ireland, you are my guest
Thanks for that! I have actually done official collaborations with several brands like Pioneer DJ, AKAI, Native Instruments, and others. Formal sponsorships in the DJ gear realm are not what they used to be in the '90s, and most are on a per-project basis. That said, I do like to keep things "brand agnostic" so that I can continue to be free to use whatever gear I want. It is an interesting industry for sure. :)
Anyone here familiar with this equipment? Ive got a drum machine at home but ive been wanting to accompany it with an mpc for strictly bass and synths. Do you just hook up samples to the mpc and go from there?
