In case there's any major mistake, I'll pin this in this comment as per viewers suggesion. - 00:31 - A-969 is called LuAZ 969 in real life while as mentioned by multiple russian viewers who know this vehicle better than me. - 08:37 - Wrong real life model for F150, Correct model is 1992 Ford F150 (9th Gen) as mentioned by adamdobra in comments. - 02:59 - Just realized that it's actually called C-509 (not B-509 as shown in video). It should be in C class with other C trucks.
There's a certain charm with Soviet-era trucks. Like they give an impression of being a machine built specifically for the harsh wilderness, to take extreme abuse from the environment, and still managed to get through to deliver the cargo. It's a charm that's sadly felt... less on Snowrunner
@@SD1ONE It’s just that ZAZ 969 was a prototype, and then everything was transferred to the city of Lutsk and they began to produce an SUV under the Luaz brand, which means Lutsk Automobile Plant.
Absolutely. Loved it in Spintires, in Mudrunner it's a bit meh without diff lock but still overall decent. In Spintires with it's chained wheels it got to places relatively well, especially with a load.
In my opinion the K-8000 skidder looks more like Irum Taf 2012 skidder, but it can represent the caterpillar skidder as well. Good video, it reminds me of your older videos with spintires/mudrunner trucks in real life
those are seriously outdated and they don't cover even 1/4 of the vehicles I showed in this video because both games received various updates and vehicles
When did you last play SpinTires? It got A few DLCs that you could buy from Steam but there were some legal issues with the developer so the game was taken down from Steam in 2020. You can't get any of the DLC sadly. Only if you look in third party websides or from people who bought a DLC code but didn't use it. I saw the Sherp DLC for 70$ so it's not cheap.
spintires after 2020 was complete overhaul from original 2014-16 game.... everything from physics to graphics to quality of life features are changed and added to game.... to bad it's removed from sale because devs were doing a great job.
Yes, You're right...I wish I scrolled further in wiki page to find 9th gen...Thats the game model....I'll correct it in pinned comment...thanks for pointing it out.
Aahhh the good old C-255, in my opinion one of the best trucks ya got in both games, never let me down once, if the E-7310 was the king then the C-255 was the prince
C-255 is legend....Its staple of this series from all the way to 2009 beta days...I've seen it in early 2008 dev preview video too which makes it oldest truck in series thats still around in new game
Until now... i think the most difficult map mod ever created is the "Black Water Canyon" for Spintire and Mudrunner. That type of map is not available in Snowrunner. 🙂
Yeah, It was very dense map with a lot of twisty tightly packed roads....I think total road length might be one of the longest for a 1x1 map (don't remember if its 1x1 or 2x2 km size)
I drew a picture of a trailer truck named 1979 SLAVERTY SUMOWSKI 500 GSI. SLAVERTY is a fictional vehicle brand I came up with 6 years ago. The SUMOWSKI is based on the 1980s Chevy bison mixed with a late 70s Peterbilt truck.
I know but the pic I find is modified UAZ 469, I couldn't find any other matching pic which I could use of hunter or 3151 both of which again are improved version of UAZ 469 as far as I know.
Great video as always! Its not a big mistake but you forgot to mention the Blue Kamaz in SpinTires. It was available in version 11.1.15 on the map called: Flood. Here is an older video where you can see it around 12-13 min: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-w5M2Yc-8MPY.htmlsi=25F8jTSJAl4AMqtd I am currently trying to put back as much original vehicles into the current version as possible. I managed to use Steam to donwload an older version where the K-700 was still available. I took the files out and tobmy surprise it worked so well that it even spawns on the Flood map naturally. I also managed to put the Blue Kamaz back too but with mods only. Question: how did you manage to use the older trucks in the current version? Were thry mods or did you just reskin the existing ones? If you used mods could you link them? It'd be a huge help!
I have all those clips of old versions pre-recorded as I used them in my History of Spintires/Snowrunner video but I couldn't manage to find blue kamaz version of game... and I don't want to use mods as they sometimes modify original vehicle
most of tires are fake/fictional in SR, MR & ST tires are actual real life tires...still dont know why they make most of them ugly looking compared to old games
all officially added vehicles...no mods... although I did show some variants that are removed or replaced but those are very few and I didn't use them for actual comparison with real vehicle
both are very different...MR is a basic game compared to snowrunner but it nailed those basics... Basically you can't do much stuff in MR but what it does, it does best ..SR on other hand tries to do everything hence fall short on some things
I have to look into these someday but probably the best time to make such videos is kind of passed as no sequel or something is launching for these game in anytime soon..
It was removed because of legal issues so you can't get them. Only from third party websides or from people who bought a DLC code but didn't use it. They are not cheap. I saw the Sherp DLC for 70$
Uh a lot of people still play those games. And while some of those trucks are in SnowRunner, they've been changed a lot and resemble their real-life counterparts even less now than when they were in SpinTires or MudRunner.
@@DasE30Cuz the old games aren't updated. SpinTires is even removed from sales. Who cares? also, I'm sure SD1ONE or another guys already did cover this topic back then. Since the games haven't changed since then, anyone can go view those old videos and don't miss anything.
I couldn't find any video which compare all these vehicles with original...even though I covered some of them in older videos but still I thought it would be best to have them all in one video so people compare how bad SR vehicles look
