The world's fastest Spiral plater: easySpiral automatic plater by INTERSCIENCE, manufacturer for microbiology.
The brand new easySpiral® technology, developed exclusively by INTERSCIENCE, allows the automatic plating of your sample on a Petri dish in just 25 seconds with a decreasing concentration, replacing up to 4 necessary dilutions.
1. HIGH PERFORMANCE SOLUTION FOR PLATING
- Sensitivity: from 300 to 10 million CFU/ml (easySpiral® Pro)
- Full cycle in 25 seconds (cleaning, intake, deposition) (easySpiral® Pro and easySpiral® Pro)
- No cross-contamination : overflow disinfection technology (Patented)
- 10 Petri dishes plated in less than 2 minutes (with the same sample)
2. ISO 4833-2 / ISO 7218 / AFNOR V08-100 STANDARDS
- Official alternative method for plating
- Incredible savings: save up to 75% in time, consumables and bench space
- 98% repeatable and reproducible results
3. EASYSPIRAL®, 3rd GENERATION OF SPIRAL® PLATERS
- Fastest Spiral® plater in the world: only 25 seconds for a full cycle
- Rotating arm with high speed movement
- USB programmable volumes, from 10 up to 1000 microliters (on easySpiral® Pro)
- Full traceability : automatic data saving and reporting (easySpiral® Pro)
- INTERSCIENCE: 30 years of experience
4. LAB CAPACITY DRAMATICALLY INCREASED WITH PLATE & COUNT SYSTEM®
- Plate & Count System® is: automatic plating with easySpiral® plater and automatic colony counting with Scan® colony counters.
- Incredible savings: save up to 75% in time, consumables and bench space
- Fast: full plating in 25 seconds and counting in 1 click
- Reliable: 98% repeatable and reproducible results
- Full traceability: automatic data saving and reporting
- Principle of the Spiral® method: A fixed volume of the sample is plated following the shape of a spiral with a logarithmically decreasing volume onto the Petri dish; after incubation the plated surface is separated into sectors whose area and sample volume are precisely known. By counting the number of colonies on each area, the concentration can be calculated instantly with a counting grid or with an automatic colony counter.
- History of the Spiral method: The Spiral® method was designed in 1973 to automate the routine work of bacterial enumeration by Dr. Ed Campbell, researcher at the FDA, US Food and Drug Adminisatration. With François Jalenques, friend and founder of INTERSCIENCE, they patented an updated method in 1992.
