We used to celebrate greatness, dominating a race.. Now fans just want entertainment. I don’t blame Kyle for being upset and he’s right, it’s a little bit of everything. As for Spire, weren’t we calling it Andretti/Gainbridge for a reason? 😮😮😮
@daleoplinger3577

Larson Absolutely correct. He and Kyle Bush should be asked. Nascar can not like it but the racers know.

Think of how tough it is to do what Larson did, there's a lot of things can happen during that race, so I respect him and his skills. 🏁

I actually think it's a straight up bad read by Larson. I would say for most "normal" fans a couple fun laps and overtime doesn't make a "good race". The first 3.5 hours still would've been a snoozer. Good cars being good has never been an issue for me.

As a KFB fan, I wish he could’ve joined Spire to replace Corey LaJoke in the #7, Him and Childers could’ve been the best veteran combo, But that’s only a dream now.

Let me be clear. This fan does not blame Goodyear. This fan blames Jim France. This car is his idea that he pushed through over doubts and questions and evidence it doesn’t work. It doesn’t work and he refuses to fix it. The tire has too large of a contact patch and the engine is under powered and the car is dependent on aerodynamics.

NASCAR really blew it with this racecar. NASCAR views the car as a success because it does well on intermediate tracks. Short tracks and road courses have long been the most entertaining racing and the races where the best drivers shine. This car is ruining the best races, the best tracks. I hope when they do redesign the car, that they go back to a car more like the old car in design and I hope that’s in 2-3 years but I’m afraid it’ll be a very long time before this car is put out of its misery.
@usleadershipareliars
@usleadershipareliars День назад
They have to view it as a success, they forced teams to fire fabricators, welders, chassis builders. Just to show everyone how big their D is. That....car can be a total disaster and they'll still say "it's a success" they will never admit they failed.

Kinda felt like Larson was talking down to the fans, honestly. Are they annoying and always falling victim to recent bias? Absolutely, but come on, anyone who knows a good race from a bad one would say that race absolutely sucked, and no other driver dominating would've changed that fact.

Wow Larson reiterated exactly what I’ve said every time you, pod casters, fans and other RU-vidrs kept going on about tires and fall off. Denny made similar statements yet he’s guilty of creating and echoing the rhetoric. The car is primary problem but it’s not just associated with the way it handles and performs. The clone style racing never has, doesn’t, nor will it ever create good short track racing. It’s common sense at most primitive state. If you have two identical cars, with near identical setups traveling at its maximum 55MPH speed on the highway and one attempts to pull out and pass the other what happens? Even if one car is going 52 MPH what happens? Nothing the car cannot pass. Because they are identical. This is basic physics. There’s not enough team variables between cars to create a delta In performance great enough to creat passing. This cannot be achieved with blanket changes across the car and field. This is because they changes will be equal and your still back to the two identical cars traveling at identical speeds dilemma. Before this generation car you had what most forms of racing had which is differences in car, chassis, engine, set ups, and driver which all crated vast differences in performance between cars. It’s very very simple guys. Even if they reduce breaking force, reduced aero grip, took away mechanical grip, improved handling in dirt air, added 100HP and increased tire fall off, the racing wouldn’t improve. That’s just restrictions associated with clone racing. If nascar opens open the rules done for short track and gave the teams more leeway with setup options, you’d see more passing and side by side racing.

What nobody is talking about is nascar didn't use resin which apparently is more abrasive than just PJ-1 does the tire weR make sense now?
@brakehard
@brakehard День назад
They did use resin, it was applied friday morning. Then they opted to put PJ1 down as well Saturday before the race.
@azslotracer
@azslotracer День назад
@brakehard in the spring race, I thought they applied it on race day? If they applied it on Friday, did it affect the exfinity cars? Was the resin mostly worn off after the Friday race? I saw some of the cip cars ran over 100 laps In practice with no tire issues that I knew of?

What PR problems does a driver who struggles to get sponsorships due to… reasons have? I mean I don’t blame him for being quiet since that’s his personality but something that really gets underneath, my skin is people attributing the fact that he has the same car every week as a good thing and the fact that he’s quiet is a good thing, but not really understanding that all that is for a reason.

What "problem with the car"? I saw more passes in Bristol than in most of other races. Gibbs stuck behind Suarez. That's literally it. It seems like Daniel found something that evening, and was hard to pass. Priece pass both in the end of the race, like they were standing. Million passes in the race outside of "damn it's hard to pass Suarez" and it causes fans meltdown. If you want crashfest every lap, you probably watching the wrong sport. Watch WWE or something. Or wreck derby. Race wasn't eventful. It wasn't boring. And had a lot of fighting. And drama. Level of start and parkers still so low that one Corey would produce a caution occasionally anyway. "No cars wrecks in the wall at 150 mph! Boooring!" Is not the way to go.

Kinda weak from Larson considering just about every current Cup driver has complained about this Next Gen car, or whatever they call it. The race being "bad" (I would use "boring") also isn't really about Larson or how good he was anyway. Nothing happened in the entire field! Lmao 😂 Merry go round. And they all whine about the lack of ability to pass. Well, that's what "we're" talking about. Just a miss by Larson I think. All good. Imo Nascar fans do complain a lot in the 7 years I've followed the sport. This car on short track = no good. Build a new one. Even Spring Bristol was a mess being honest, and a fluke/sideshow...but fun.

Lets stop talking to the winner of the race. Lets try that 1st HUGE L. He is 100% wrong....AGAIN. Since the reconfiguration of this track, there's not been 1 good race at Bristol AT ALL. The track is horrible and has always been horrible since this reconfig. TIRE FALL OFF EQUALS GOOD RACING, just cause he can't manage tires doesn't mean we should just fall in line and go by what he says. HE'S WRONG and HAS ALWAYS BEEN WRONG.
