You're right on most things albingo, but not on the fact that "this game's existence is not justified". After playing skyrim back in the day and then elden ring not long ago, I was like "meh didn't like them, maybe I'm not made for open world games" Then my lil bro got a switch with this thing and I was sceptical at first, of course, but it became probably my second favourite game ever, and I found out it's because I hadn't played the first one. The price tag and existence is fully justified if you haven't touched BotW, which is the case for a lot of people when you look at ownership surveys. Also now I feel like I'm getting scammed when playing the first one, because it's just the same but with less things and even shittier bosses, and shit abilities
