Real quickly I just want to say, for Bobby strings I totally get how you wouldn’t think he’s scary, but think of the people who have a slight or big fear of dolls and puppets and stuff. You may not have that as much but I kinda do and think he’s VERY scary just because of its dirtiness, and how it’s like creepily smiling at you. But I don’t blame you he could of looked much more almost, demonic

You know…. Gravestone Ghoul could be a really cool addition if you have the Lowe’s Reaper Band. He could be headbanging to their music lol

I really wish Spirit would make more clowns that look human rather than monster-like. I remember going into a Spirit store when I was younger and seeing Silent and Deadly and feeling absolutely HORRIFIED by him because of the fact that he looked like a real deranged man in clown makeup! I feel like they are wasting so much potential for genuinely scary clown animatronics here, since they are so hellbent on making a million clowns lol.

I think the entire point of night terror is it’s supposed to be a budget prop for people starting to collect animatronics and for families to have in their yard

The beginning song is a metal cover of a song from super Mario bros Wii. Incredible. Also, I feel like night terror’s animation is reminiscent of Quagmire’s “giggity” head movement from family guy

I adore dark princess, her look and lore are so good. An angel that left paradise to explore the world below and kill reapers that were hunting humans to then be coerced by Lucifer to join him and become a dark Angel.

My honest opinions on each prop: Cotton Candy Dan: I have nothing to dislike or hate with him!! He’s so terrifying and creepy, he looks like he was taken from a nightmare!!! He might actually be my favorite of the year!! The concept is awesome! He would DEFINITELY scare people who are afraid of clowns!! Mack Straw: Maybe my second favorite, I love his face design and his laugh! The Ringmaster: When I first saw him, I was at first, a little disappointed. I thought he looked goofy, but he grew on me a lot! I definitely agree with what you said, even though I’m a clown lover, I’m happy he was an actual human instead of a ringmaster clown!! Michael Myers: Definitely a meh. I like the blood on him, and I like his breathing audio, but yeah, don’t have much to say about him. I do like the actual character a bit, but the prop, eh, don’t really care for it. Giant Death Ray: I like him a lot, I honestly like the audio, in my opinion it’s a little unsettling and also fitting for him. I don’t really like the name they gave him though, we all thought it would be like, a giant ray gun but it was just a giant alien. I like the prop itself, but the name isn’t really fitting for him. Bobby Strings: Don’t really care for him either, he’s just another meh. I may have to see his demo first and his voice, but so far I don’t care about him. Gravestone Ghoul: Another prop I don’t care too much about and I honestly have nothing to say about him, pretty generic zombie The Cremator: He’s literally just a static, kinda wish he had movement. I personally think his voice and lighting effects are cool, everything else I’m not a fan of much. Nibbles: So far, I think he’s awesome!! I love the feature he has where he can actually watch where you go, but I do agree with you, maybe it won’t have enough time if someone walks by very fast. And if there is more than one person, MAYBE he’ll watch whoever is the closest to him? I’m not sure, but I love the concept a lot! Demonic Gatekeeper: I don’t have a lot to say, but the concept is pretty cool, his voice is scary as well! Not my favorite, but he’s still cool! Emily and Victor: 100% THE BEST LICENSE PROP SPIRIT HAS EVER GIVEN US!! They look 100% ACCURATE to the movie and I have 0 complains with them!!! I love how they have servo animation too, it’s awesome!!! I even love how they got actual lines from the movie, and didn’t get different voice actors for them!! I love it a lot!! The woman with a carved face: So far, she’s creepy and I can’t wait to see what exactly she does! I agree with you, I wouldn’t think Spirit would pull off the idea of a 50s house wife with a terrifying and gory pumpkin face! Night Terror: YUP, I agree with you LOL! 😂 He is just straight up so goofy and NOT scary at all, I don’t even think this would scare a little child! At the same time though, I do love how goofy he is, BUT cmon! What the heck?? LOL the mechanism definitely also reminds me of E.T lol 😂 when I first saw that, I was shocked. There’s no way! Dark Princess: She’s okay honestly, she looks more like a dark fairy than an actual evil princess. She does have a creepy audio and face, I will give her that. But at the same time, she’s just alright in my opinion. Barnaby the Bear: I love the concept of a bear balancing on a ball, but his appearance is alright. Not much to say again about that one. Mr. Dark reskin: Another one I don’t care for either. Ghostface: I honestly like him a lot! I love the mechanism, mostly his stabbing motion. I don’t really like the knife that goes upwards, I prefer the knife that goes downward, it makes way more sense. Wanda Webworth: Name is honestly a bit confusing, it looks a bit goofy in my opinion, but it might terrify some people for sure! Also, I don’t really care for the returning props except Creepy Towering Clown, I like how they brought back a clown for this theme, in my opinion! I just wish he would be in stores but unfortunately, I don’t think he is. But it is what it is! All my opinions, I respect everyone’s opinions too!

1. Wait til these manufacturers make a Pixelated Pumpkin or Brick Thunder animatronic. 2. Weirdly enough about Tallulah, I remember how last year after Hell Spawn, I imagined another hypothetical Mr. Dark reskin that looked like a witch. Did I predict the future? 😏

A little surprised to see people not liking Mack! I think he has a really fun face! Edit: Aw, man, I always thought Twitching Banshee got too much hate, I always loved her. They kinda ruined her, I don't like this new face. Her hair, too. And I love the Jack o lantern lady, but I really wish she had more gore! Spirit did one gory thing this year with the Rat zombie guy, but other than that, they never do gore anymore.

Bobby Strings would be an interesting challenge. You could do a repaint on him to make him creepier.

Bobby strings is creepy imo, I feel like his cartoonish face was the point given that he’s supposed to replicate a vintage puppet. It’s his expression that makes him a lot more unsettling to look at but we can all agree to disagree

The Ringmaster is my favorite of the new items. My disappointment isn't with the new items but what Spirit did with the "Blast from the Past" selections. There are soooo many good animatronics that could've been re-released, but they went with some of the craziest options imaginable. Silent but Deadly I thought for sure would've returned. Ngl I feel like this year animatronics aren’t scary, this year is too kiddy for me. But as you said I’m at the start there are cool ones and some stinky ones. Can’t wait for Halloween.

I feel like maybe something like "the dark angel" would be a better fit for it, don't u think? The Death Ray design is unique with the sort of ghoul take on an alien. Although I was excited to possibly see a gothic horror vampire for Dark Princess, the design like with the dress gives off "American folktale horror" vibes and reminds me of the "black-eyed children" legend, and the chanting is cool! I actually love the look of The Cremator because the design reminds me of a cloaked table-top cemetery reaper angel statue holding a skull I got from At Home which I love but wish lit up from the inside, but The Cremator price for what it is is ridiculous, and as you say, it could have been fun to see a super creative take with a name like "the cremator"!

This year’s lineup is kind of 50/50 for me. some are good, some are bad. I will say though that Wanda Webworth is already my most favorite of the 2024 lineup! Her and Emily are being added to my display, possibly even Twitching Banshee if I get a chance to get her.

The best out of all are the tim Burton corpse bride animatronics. They look like the actual puppets and I'd actually display these year round

My jaw DROPPED when I saw the Victor and Emily animatronics. Corpse bride is one of my favorite halloween movies and Emily is my favorite character. (Always thought it was funny how I have the same name as her) So seeing Emily and Victor animatronics made me so excited

@thepixelatedpumpkin31 Do you have any ideas of what next year's Sprit Halloween animatronics will be because I'm really looking forward to the animatronics that Spirit Halloween will offer in 2025! Hope nothing is overpriced and/or underpriced! And I also agree with you when you said you weren't expecting that Dark Princess would look like that and to be completely honest, it is kinda scary but not the scariest. Also, Mr Dark 3 doesn't even look like a witch, he or she looks more like a creepy monk or nun

Gravestone ghoul animation does work for me, he looks like he's stuck under the tombstone and he's trying to yank himself free.

They nailed it this year even better then last year but the only ones I don’t like that are not good in my opinion are night terror and the Cremator I agree with you on night terror

I think the cremator is pretty cool, though i can see why people wouldn't like his static state. I think he'd be cool as just a porch prop. Also, I've loved corpse Bride my entire life and i will indeed be buying Emily and Victor even if they are going to be expensive.

They might do a remake 10 years later of bobby strings just like they did with uncle Charlie in 2020

I will say the cremator is really lazy looking over all.... but has a lot of room for improvement for fairly cheap. Pushing the fabric back or putting a skeleton inside of it and lightly gluing the fabric to it would help the look over all. also including some spray foam with deep paints to make it look like molten or melted flesh would give this guy a serious upgrade.

Talula looks like she’d make a great reskinnable base for “RETURRRRRRRNNNNN THE SLAAAAAAAAAB…” (Courage The Cowardly Dog). 🤭
