perfect! thanks so much. I used the cream makeup this weekend and it was hard to work with, thanks for the explanation, im going to pick up the grease makeup tomorrow
I was not getting even coverage with the green cream. I love that you showed the grease make up over top. I think that was very helpful. The store attendant I asked didn't really have a clue what to recommend.
I love Spirit Halloween! Honestly, their makeup works better than some more expensive stuff I've tried. I also love their liquid latex. It's ammonia free and the dry time is relatively slow, giving me plenty of time to work with it. It's a little pricey, but I love it. I've written to them to ask if they can sell bigger containers of it..haha! Thank you for this demonstration!
I'd like to see you do military camo facepaint from a practical standpoint. Or perhaps an analysis of the "Metal gear solid 3" face paint styles. There's some interesting stuff. maybe even use the actual military issued grease paint sticks. I think it would be a popular video.
Good info. Actually picked up some creams ones and the powder today before watching this and didn't know the difference between the smudge free one. Glad I didn't get the smudge free now
Did you use baby powder as a setting powder? I find that baby powder, when put on something that covers the skin, mattes out the satiny look, and makes it more integrated looking onto your skin.
When I use this grease makeup pan form party city I set it and it did so well for hours and then once I put on my mask it melted away and got very blotchy
It's kind of just up to your preference - I would personally use the grease makeups and set with powder and do any detailing with liners and eyeshadows :)
tfw ur mom said ur leaving at 5:40 on the dot and its 5 and u got a full look to do and no idea how to use the makeup 😭 my procrastinating ways have potentially gotten th best of me this time
I've mainly worked with Ben Nye Neutral Set, which I love, but I'm sure there are better/more affordable powders out there. Neutral Set runs about $7-20 depending on the size you get and where you get it - the 3 oz. lasts me quite a while!
