Nice work, love to see my fave spirit -- you play him a lot different than I do! If I see Pent-Up Calamity I snap it up, that's his #1 major IMO. It would have cleared out your land 7 fast (with your left innate), netted you more fear overall than Fright (5 more by my count), and you'd have tier 2 of Savage Revenge plus Plaguebearers to clean up your beast token land. I think it's possible that you might have had the win the turn after if you Plaguebearered from land 4 to 2 and played Strike Low, Calamity, and Plaguebearers again. (Left innate kills city in land 2, Calamity kills last city in land 5 by removing strife) Also you had the win with the last event card (pick other option for 1 fear), didn't need to risk the tiny % chance that your fear cards didn't net you a fear :)
Thanks for your comment! Yes, Pent-Up Calamity would have also worked well here. I was missing the 1 moon to threshold it though. I had all the elements to threshold Paralyzing and Voice during that turn and so prioritized them. And you are right about the last event. It would have given me an instant 1 fear to win but it also removes 2 invader cards from the deck and that would reduce my final score! I have too much faith in my fear cards haha
@@strategymeeples Yes, I know, and I did that. It wasn't good enough. It also makes the audio choppy, and without clear audio, I have no chance of understanding what is going on.
