It looks like the tribute to Neil delayed by COVID is finally going to come to fruition. The original idea was to make a bronze bust or statue from his melted down cymbals and place it in Lakeside Park in Port Dalhousie (St Catharines area) where he spent some summers as a youth. Neil's drum solo in Frankfurt is astounding. He was their main lyricist. A very intelligent, deep man. After losing both his wife and daughter he went on a thousands of miles motorcycle ride to think and wrote a book about dealing with grief called "Ghost Rider, travels on the Healing road". Three amazing musicians. Great senses of humour. Best viewed live.

@susieq9801 Hey Linda, I think that is a nice touch to honour Neil with a statue in Port Dalhousie....great place to have it. They are tremendous musicians and so influencial. They didn't get publicly recognized as much as they should have but are the darlings to countless musicians who were inspired by them and there crowd of loyal fans 🤗💗

Easily one of greatest Trio’s in history or Rock But who I am to tell you that , as you said they are a Canadian treasure ! So instead , being as you are a huge fan of pop culture Let me recommend reading Ready Player One by Ernest Cline . It is sci fi but a very light read . The pop references come fast and are insane and unlike the movie the sections about Rush are fantastic and so important to the story It a fun read for anyone in to movie , 80s music and TV Neil Peart : RIP , you are sorely missed
