"I had been waiting so long to run free, but that goodbye was harder than I ever imagined. I'll never forget that boy, and how we won back our freedom together."
That's a quote I thought of when I had to have my horse be put down....he had wanted to continue running ...but as he died ....his goodbye...was harder than I imagined... R.I.P Shotgun You were my best friend since day 1 I'll miss you bud 2001-2017
+The Sky Is A Blessing In Disguise "That goodbye was harder than I'd ever imagined. I will never forget that boy, or how we earned our freedom together."
No matter how much I watch this scene, I still cry and get goosebumps.. This movie and its soundtracks are timeless. That's why horses are my favorite animals
I loved this movie as a kid. I rewatched it many years later and I literally spent the whole movie sobbing cause not only is story beautiful but the music is just the cherry on top. These songs really hit you in the feels😭👌🏻🖤🖤
"I had been waiting so long to run free, but that goodbye was harder than I ever imagined. I will never forget that boy and how we won back our freedom together." "Take care of her...Spirit...Who can never be broken. I will miss you my friend." Can't stop crying :(
This movie is my childhood, it's been about 4 years that I haven't watched this movie. When I watched it yesterday I almost cried and that's sth special because I never cry in movies.
Am i the only one that doesn't want to live the life he's living and just wants to go back in time, when he was 6 years old and live his childhood over and over ? :'(
“I’ve been waiting so long to run free, but that goodbye... was harder than I ever imagined. I’ll never forget that boy, and how we won our freedom back together.’
One of the best scenes in this movie. "I had been waiting so long to run free, but that goodbye was harder than I ever imagined. I'll never forget that boy, and how we won back our freedom together."
Makes me cry 😱😰 I grew up with Spirit, now I'm 14 but I always watch it no matter what people think of me! Love you Spirit and Rain and Little Creek forever!
dang horse make me cry spirit is my childhood I watched with my grandma loads and loads and she died years ago and this film always reminds me of her and I fallen to pieces x
When Little Creek took Rain's feather away, he made it clear she belonged to Spirit now. Let's let that sink in for a moment. This young Lakota has probably seen Rain been born and took care of her when both were young. He's been riding with her, even gone to war with her (as you can see partially in the movie). They've probably saved each other's lives multiple times. Such a bond with a horse is not unheard of but unique - I cannot even describe how beautiful such a relationship is. And yet he knows Spirit and Rain love each other, but she cannot make the choice herself...so he does it for her. People, behold honest love! Now if you'll excuse me, I need to wash my face...
This scene always makes me sob. It makes me feel like I’m back to being a little kid, watching this for the first time again. God this movie hurts so good.
spirit is just a masterpiece... even without the words and language we use today, everyone still understands it -- and in a way, it touches and reaches deeper than most movies do :) Respect!!
This is both beautiful and so emotional. Spirit and Rain finding one another again, then them having to leave Little Creek. Such choices break someone's heart ❤
One of the best examples why I say Hans Zimmer is the best composer of our time! (by the way, I also cry every time I watch the movie and the scene comes up, though i watched it a hundred times or so.. feelings remain :) )
This is first movie I ever watched and still, the best movie ever made. In every moment of the 19 years of my life that I watched this, I will my eyes out. This movie deserves so much more credit
Любовь живет во всем! Музыка навевает легкую грусть, уводит в воспоминания о трудном, и о чем то хорошем, самом значимом, что случилось в жизни. Наверное, каждый под эти милые кадры впоминает прекрасные моменты своей любви
For me, the Indian letting the Rain go with the Spirit was an act of love. The film shows that Rain had a feather on her head, showing that she had a very strong friendship with the Indian. Just as the LORD JESUS did: love is liberation.
Один из моих любимых мультфильмов! Смотрела много раз и буду ещё смотреть! Он о свободе, о дркжбе , о любви! И Что нужно беречь нашу природу- мы без неё никуда!!!
Absolutely the best movie that stll makes me cry. heartwarming and beautiful it will always I just don't understand why other people haven't seen spirit stallion of the cimarron
Still after several years, I am still crying over this. And the fact that I am listening to this at 12 at night, and I have about 1 day left with my horse, kinda breaks my heart💔😪
This movie is a timeless classic that millions cried 2 watching, one that i never forgot! This was a splendid animation with an amazing OST & great story!!! I saw it many years ago & it's as enchanting now as it was all those years ago! Thanks 4 posting. Big like XD
This movie came out 2 years before my birthday. I remember watching this with my siblings and my mom and whenever this part came up, me and my brother would cry and my mom would try not to laugh at us and we'd start crying for like 10 mins over this soundtrack. Brings back memories too.

When I first watched this film on t.v. it made me cry so much. That scene where the female horse (I don't recall the name right now) appears to Spirit from the shadows after being brought back to great health by her owner.... that's just the saddest moment for me. I don't know why. I think it's the shock of knowing how well she looks. I hadn't seen the whole film in a while. So watching this clip just now has brought a lump to my throat and at least a single tear nearly. It's just so sad. :-/
POV: you are a grown ass adult who is on a nostalgia trip at 2 A.M. because you can't believe what a catastophe "spirit untamed" is, so you endet up here and are now crying your eyes out
