Its throwback Thursday and this week we are playing Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron: Forever Free! Throwback Thursday is a day where we go back in time to play some of the games from our childhood, and unlock a little piece of nostalgia. This will be a full longplay of the game without commentary.
Spirit: Stallion Of The Cimarron Forever Free takes you back to Homeland, the Cimarron herd and Spirit's friends. Run as Spirit through different places to find the herd members and help other creatures, so that the whole herd can return to Homeland.

Do you remember playing this game? I can remember always trying and failing to beat this game when I was younger. So all I used to do was run around as Spirit all over the map. I'm glad to finally complete the game and see the ending.

I can't believe I never knew about this game. I was obsessed with the movie as a kid to the point that my birthday party that year was Spirit themed and we went to the theater to watch it.

I think my parents got me this game one year for my birthday. I don't remember how I got the game, I just remember playing it all the time.

Yeah when I found the game I was transported back in time. Loved getting to experience it again, and to beat it for the first time lol.

We were obsessed with this game growing up! The day we beat it, I remember relishing the moment before just exploring and galivanting around with no worries about the rustlers. And we could still do some of the "challenges/mini games" after we finished it! I also remember it glitching one time and I got to run around *on top of the trees* and had to reboot for it to fix itself. XD

Yeah I had so much fun just running around more than anything else. I don't think I actually knew how to beat the game back then. I just wanted to run around as Spirit. 😆

This is still one of my all time favorite games purely for the nostalgia aspect. Gameplay itself was sort of a pain at times, but it had a decent and straightforward plot that I really enjoyed as a kid. I tried to get the game to work again on my laptop, unfortunately it wasn’t formatted for my computer and is graphically unplayable. I’m thankful that you’ve done a whole gameplay so I can have another taste of the soundtrack and my favorite parts!

I loved this game growing up too! This will always be my Spirit when I think of the stallion of the cimarron. 🙂 I had to play mine through a virtual disc drive it didn't work on my PC either.

The first menu screen where you can enter your name and stuff is the most beautiful song, can you upload just that song? That would make my day!

I can't unfortunately because I don't have access to the game anymore I'm sorry. 🙁 Also RU-vid is a bit iffy on uploading music nowadays they would likely copyright strike it.

Do you happen to know if there's a patch for the cringe part at 5:44 where theres this awkward "invisible wall".. its so annoying!

I don't think there is but the only thing I did to make it work was clicking outside the game window then back in real quick. That's why you see my mouse go off the screen then come back and the audio cuts off. Its because I had to click off then back on and he would run through it.

i’m so upset i just managed to do EVERYTHING despite a glitchy as hell game and now the mine cart at the end won’t drop coal for me so i can’t free the last horse 😭

Oh man that stinks. I hate when glitches only happen right at the end where you don't want to play the whole game again to try to fix it.

I just downloaded a virtual disc drive for my computer and went to oldgamesdownload to find the game. Some people in the comments gave instructions on how to make it work.

I had to download a virtual disc drive because my computer doesn't have a CD rom drive.

@@myladynaynay Umm I believe it was called Virtual Clone Drive. If that doesn't work go to the oldgamesdownloads website and look it up there. There was someone in the comments who said how to run the game.
