Man, I came here specifically to tell you that this album 100% deserves a full reaction, particularly since I'm sure you've done half already with the songs that have been around. Well worth it. ✌️
The whole album is great, but the transition from "Hurt You" to "Yellowjacket" is chef's kiss. It was like a sonic kick to the balls the first time I heard it, very jarring, but in a good "WTF just happened, what is going on!?" kind of way.
The top 3 tracks for me on Eternal Blue are surprisingly the more mellow ones: Sun Killer, The Summit, and Secret Garden. They haven't even been around for that long but Courtney's voice has already evolved. Have you heard any of their singles pre- Eternal Blue? Cause 99% of them are gold. 🤘
So awesome to see you react to spirit box I've been looking forward to this!! I really want to see you react to Silk in the Strings... It is a relentless banger that I know you will love. It is one of my favorites off this incredible album. Hope you get feeling better soon Drew!!
Well this band have certainly raised the spirits of the media lately, and with the album getting the good stuff said, I must check em out more. 'Tis a good week for Rock with the new Trivium album hitting at the weekend and new Mastodon double album soon too. Hoppin' off good new releases lately, so Ill follow along with these reactions to this band here.👍 I like the big chorus belted out, the cool smooth layers of sound with those jagged djenty riffs. Also m'chara, hope the aul' hoarsey throat clears up soon, lad.
Very good reaction video m8 - love this band sooo much. Pls react to songs like Silk in the Strings, Eternal Blue or Halcyon from this album as well - killer tracks for sure! :-)
Great reaction! There have been 5 singles from Eternal Blue; in order of release: Holy Roller, Constance, Circle With Me, Secret Garden and Hurt You. Mike Stringer (the guitarist and Courtney’s husband) is really talented - he usually writes the music too. The musical tone sound in the intro is intentional, by the way! 😁 I’d recommend working your way through the album in track order for reactions, but of course it’s up to you! I really enjoy all the tracks. Hope your throat is better soon. 👍🏻
I haven't tuned into your channel lately (hate to say it) but I'm here now because of this reaction. This whole album is absolute fire and the drop in this song is pure sludge haha Also you should also give Architects another chance. Gone With The Wind, Hereafter, Deathwish, Downfall, Gravity, A Match Made In Heaven, Royal Beggars, Modern Misery, Broken Cross, Castles In The Air, Impermanence, Goliath. Those are all good songs haha
Love your chat man, don't feel self-conscious about it. Sorry you're unwell, hope you get well soon. This track is the absolute tits, really interesting use of electronic effects and the chorus is going to be amazing to hear live
I've slept on Spiritbox apart from Constance - dig this one too. Will have to give the album a listen. It's already a hard call between Sleep Token and Architects for my favourite album this year. Let's throw a third contender in the mix.
I just discovered your channel, great reactions. I'd love to see you react to biaxident by liquid tension experiment. I'm sure you will love it. Cheers from Chile.
You haven't really listened to too much Spiritbox right? I like Holy Roller, Circle With Me, and Yellowjacket but I find all of these songs to be a more "radio friendly" kind of metal than their older songs. Songs like Belcarra, Trust Fall, and The Beauty of Suffering are more complex and what I want from them in the future. And their live performance of The Mara Effect at Silverside Studios is one of the best music videos on RU-vid.
8 year old girl and her band doing a slipknot cover. Just copy and paste these words into the youtube search. *8 yr old's ADORABLE "The Devil in I" by Slipknot / O'Keefe Music Foundation* Seriously my dude these kids are so talented and deserves more views on their video.
