This supergroup of a line up is a match made in heaven! If they wanted to, Courtney can learn Tim's parts and they can cover AILD, and I would also love to see her perform something from her Hail Mary album from IWRESTLEDABEARONCE
It's refreshing to see that he's actually doing the backing vocals live. The old bassist did studio vocals but nothing live so it it sounds more full when you have those live vocals. If he ends up a full-time member, they not only get a hell of a singer, he wrote a lot of riffs and lyrics on the last couple of AILD albums - it would elevate them to that next god tier level.
Being a die hard AILD fan I’m so happy for Josh. I’ve meet him so many times and he’s a great guy. I’m glad he found a band that treats him right. Tim smh.
The song is a banger and yes, Josh, Zev and Mike are killing it. But can we take a moment to appreciate Courtney's stage presence? Like, the hand gestures and everything, fits the song and the performance so so well. Praying to see Spiritbox in Russia one day 💕
Yes it certainly is, even though I loved earlier AILD with Josh's vocals and his energy was perfect for their band THEN, no ifs ands, or buts; however that was a long enough run with not to mention a singer who has allegedly confessed to hiring a hitman to shoot his wife. I mean I'm overjoyed if anything that a guy with his skill and his vocal abilities found a place for himself to shine as a bassist and backing vocalist his music career brought it up a few notches with his incorporation to Spiritbox.
Mutually parted ways and Josh is a temporary fill-in for the tour they're on. Read up on it through Spiritbox socials and don't believe everything you see because even though he's great, he's definitely not part of the band right now. It took Zev over a year to become a member and Mike already writes the bass parts as well so there's no immediate pressure for a replacement is how I see it.
Spiritbox rocks and Josh is dope. Just wish dude wasn't rocking merch. We get it your not AILD anymore but wow. It's like Joey jordison wearing murderdolls during a slipknot show
@Trash Or Pass tim lambesis express or smth , but seriously if phil leaves i think the band's sound will drastically change a lot since he was the guy coming up with those riffs afaik , if he leaves i wonder if they gonna get a new guitarist or get back evan white (he is the one who wrote the riffs on the early as i lay dying albums including songs like forever , distance is darkness and 94 hours iirc
I'm not a fan of this band but it's interesting to see Josh doing something new. Personally though, I preferred Wovenwar to this but that's just my opinion.
