It's 3 am, I've been unemployed for months, no money, no motivation, I'm in constant anxiety over what the hell I'm going to do with my life now that i am 24 and still living with my mom who is also struggling to make ends meet. These songs make me long for a life i can only daydream about, but at the same time they make me feel somewhat 'safe', as though things will be alright. Thanks for making my nights a little easier, Nomadic Studio, keep doing what you love.
Knowing that I helped ease your stress makes me extremely happy! This is the main goal of what I do. I hope you a joyful life, and your dreams to be achieved.
I'm so sad that i got to know about spirited away after such a long time. The first ever anime that i have watched is ponyo. As i remember that was when I'm in my middle school.People say waching animations are waste of time but, i swear it has so many deep meaningful things if you watch carefully. As I'm in my 20s i can really feel them well.Animations are a great combination of feelings and emotions. Thanks to spirited away I'm finally an animation lover. I'm so thankful♡
No need to be sad, it's never late to love something or someone. Look at it this way; you just found an emotional treasure that will entertain you for a very long time! A treasure that will live rent free in your core memory! Welcome to Ghibli World ♡
Ponyo was my first movie I watched it the day I was born lol then after like 2 or 3 days after I was born ponyo released so then after like 7 months I watched it
For me spirited away was my first movie I ever watch when I was 6 years old and now that I'm 25 I still love the movie. Spirites away has so much meaning and it was what got me into anime in the first place. Other movies like ponyo, and my neighbor totoro are my all time favorites. For me I always and will continue watching these kind of awesome anime like movies. No matter what others say there are people who would have the same interest and flaws for anime movies.
I think my favorite part of the movie is just the beginning where they spend as much time as possible to allow is to soak in the ambiance of the abandoned park during the daytime. Not a lot of people highlight it, but it was very influential to me and I frequently rewatch the movie just to watch those first 20 minutes. It affected my art, writing, love of ruins, fascination with abandoned parks, how I would animated children if I could freaking draw, you name it. The second best bit for me is the building up to Yubaba flying off on her mission at dawn, and the third is the downpour and the calmed bathouse after the eventful night. If anything I would just love ambience vids of just these. Would be amazing backdrops for painting my models.
This is amazing, all the memories of ghibli films. Ghibli is a huge part of my childhood even though I don't really understand the deep meaning and the movie at first. First ghibli film and first anime I ever watch in my entire was my neighbour totoro, brings me comfort
Same! my mom rented totoro at some library when I was 4 and it became my favorite movie. And because we all loved the movie so much she rented spirited away, howls moving castle, and kiki’s delivery services and since then i’ve had a strong nostalgic attachment to those 4 :) Especially totoro though
Man.Spirited away is one of my fav movies of all time. This playlist makes you feel that tingly soothing sensation and heals your stres or anxiety. Thanks for this :D
Howl's Moving Castle was the first Studio Ghibli I watched. It was during COVID and I was always anxious or withdrawn but it brought me so much comfort and peace. It was beautiful and unexpected so I began to watch the other films. Howl's Moving Castle remains my favorite but the depth and beauty of the others is amazing! Your videos are just as comforting and always relax me after a long day. Thank you for the content!
this hits my nostalgia button HARD. the optimism of a 100% of my future undecided was my life around this time. the pressure of the present chaos and living here. I eke out whatever joy I can find in the spaces I occupy. There is no other way to live. Sometimes it feels nihilistic.
This was my fiance's favorite movie and song. I spent 5 years learning to play the piano and mastering this piece. Last week I finally got to play it at our wedding and brought her to tears.
Its crazy how with any other animation studio there tends to be one movie which stands above the others as the "best". with ghibli, every movie is so special in its own way. they are all equally masterpieces.
No matter the rain of today or tomorrow, so long as I hold this music and these memories near to my heart, and if I hold love's hand as I walk, life will be all right, and beauty may never cease to be felt.
I worked in a bathhouse in Hokkaido for 1 year and this was exactly this mood. I also studied Zen at Eiheiji for 3 years and lived in the dorms of the monastery when i was teen and i remember especially the rainy summer nights.
Hello, I'm really interested in how you got a position in a bathhouse in Hokkaido, I would like to do something similar. Could you tell me how you found that position?
@@vtotoca Hi, could give you the short answer "I applied and got the job" but i don't think this would be of any use. So the longer answer is that i had already been living in Japan for a few years under student visa and was finishing my degree in ethology on the topic of the red crowned japanese crane, so i had to move to Hokkaido to study them. I found myself in Tsurui which is a beautiful area in Hokkaido but with very little opportunities to work especially for a foreigner and there was no way i was going to work as an english teacher since i'd rather pull my nails with pliers than doing that ! And more accurately because i am Icelandic and so no school would hire me to teach english or any other language and nobody wants to learn icelandic or Danish or even Norwegian in Japan, so my job opportunities were limited. Fortunately i had worked three years in a row (two month a year) at the Dogo Onsen in Ehime (Shikoku) and had some experience as Nakai (male Nakai) and so i went to all the Onsen in the Tsuri area and asked for a job. I could speak read and write Japanese and was comfortable with the task, and i didn't have tattoos so this helped. And i was from Iceland so i had no problem with the winter temperatures, and had a one year student visa renewable, so the onsen didn't have to provide a visa. If you specifically want to work in Hokkaido and in an Onsen then the best thing is to apply online at Hallo Work Hokkaido in the area you are interested in, and then let the staff of the recruitment agency find you a position there. But if you consider other areas then i couldn't recommend you more to apply to the Dogo onsen in Ehime 道後温泉 愛媛 simply because it is by far the most beautiful hot spring in Japan (to my opinion) the weather is wonderful, all of Shikoku is gorgeous and the people are insanely kind. Feel free to drop my name if you apply (just say it is Kyllian from Iceland who recommended you to apply there), this can't hurt, because i did a good job there and they seemed to like me. Now this being said there are a few requirements. You need to at least be able to speak Japanese and hold a conversation with customers and staff (you do not have to be fluent but at least willing to make efforts in that direction). Like all traditional businesses in Japan you need to be extremely polite, extremely clean in your appearance and personal hygiene, have an impeccable presentation, good manners, and definitely no Tattoo, this is an absolute NO NO in Onsen and Ryokan and almost any job in Japan where your tattoos are visible. I don't know if you are a man or a woman but if you are a woman, being able to dress in Kimono properly is a huge plus, you could even apply wearing a Kimono which would impress them. I am a man and no Kimono would ever fit me because of my height, but they liked the idea of working with a giant who could reach stuff harder for them to do. I was the official Noren hanger every morning because i didn't require a ladder and could carry the bamboo pole by myself. But more importantly you have to be likeable and hard working because this is what they will check first. You must also respond positively to hierarchy, when your senpai tells you to do something you do not question it and you do not say no or postpone it even if you think what you are being asked to do is stupid, especially if you think this is stupid. Do not help others and stick to your task, doing someone else's job is not seen positively in Japan, but you can ask others if they need help, given that you are done with all your tasks for the day. Always take responsibility for your mistakes and for other people's mistake when facing a customer. Be the epitome of etiquette when interacting with customers. In the west we believe that the customer is king, in Japan they believe that the customer is God (Okyakusama ha Kamisama) and it is never more true than in the traditional service industry, just like in Sen to Chihiro ! If you are ready to do all that, then you should definitely apply. You will work hard but will make good friends, enjoy a very peaceful daily life, enjoy nature and meet great customers (especially Japanese customers), and will actually earn a skill (many skills) which will help you whenever you apply for other jobs because a good recommendation from a traditional establishment in japan means that you have acquired the etiquette and proper attitude to work with Japanese people or in Japanese companies so it is really something i would seriously recommend you try.
@@kachi2782 what an amazing comprehensive reply, I honestly don't even dream of trying to get there, but I read this thread out of curiosity. Your answer is very detailed and it shows you are willing to put in true effort for random strangers on the Internet. This is amazing! Keep this up!
How can I say First anime that i've watched in my life + the OST that I love most + chill music + rain sound Can I just say that this is more than a masterpiece?
No... It cant be this small of a channel... Pin so I can see the growth and can be here forever? This is too good of a diamond in the rough! Thanks Edit: I can see every small detail and its amazing. You are a life saver with these videos. I put them on when I’m trying to get my newborn to fall asleep. Best sleep I’ve gotten since we brought her home from the hospital. I appreciate you so much!
May the world return to its PEACE and HAPPINESS. Covid had been difficult for many and most of us are fighting against it. We will not lose this battle, come strong my brothers and sisters. We will prevail!

RU-vid recommended this video to me! Best spirited away background soundtrack I listened to!! Super relaxing. Thank you for this💓. I would love it if you did a howl's loving castle one. Happy hitting 100k Views!!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! I'm actually in the middle of visualizing a Howl's Moving Castle video. Hit the notification bell to get notified when the video is published 😊
Absolutely love this. Where did you source the "Always With Me (Kalimba) - Composed by Yumi Kimura" yourself? I can't seem to find a slow kalimba version like the one in your video.
Hi., just discovered your channel, I fel in love with your work. by the way, can you sell me a copy of "One summer's day" arrangement?! please, is amazing! i am learning to play piano and that can be my end of next year project. Let me know if possible, any way great work here!
Glad you liked the channel! I don't own the original arrangement, but here is a link where you can purchase it directly from the owner: www.mymusicsheet.com/pidalso/6992
This is sick! I must say that the large rain drups like on 8:26 is offputting, because it looks like they come trough the window. Maybe smaller drops next time>
Umm...Excuse me, can i use this music of your's as bgm on myvideos i will add or named the music's with your name..if you gave me your permission, nice music by the way im a new subs friend... :)
I wish i could be in a ghibli movie. I wouldnt even hope to be the mc. I just want to be a side character. Life would be so much easier. My character design wouldnt include daily aches and pains of hEDS, or the constant stomach issues i have. It would just be a ton better to have less character design and development. I say this and yet i really wish i could cuddle haku. Haku is best boy/river
When I first saw spirited away I still clearly remember that I was in level 4 and we used to have a movie class where we all enthusiastic kidss use to watch movies...... Our language teacher put this movie for us in our school library but due to the limited time we had I wasn't able to watched the whole movie.... Just watched the first 25 minutes of it and there's something about this movie's aura if I must say that it clicked .... This vibe , the art , this music it stayed with me and I wasn't able to forget it. Mind you I didn't got the movie name as I was so busy talking to my best friends about our lunch break party so all I was stuck with is my imagination, the knowledge that it was a Japanese film and that black shadow ( no-face; I used to it that as I didn't get its name) until years later I finally found under Google image search ..... It was one of the besttt thing that happened to me because because of it I seeped my way into anime and THE CULTURE OF JAPAN and I was introduced to this wonderful feeling of romanticising life; it's simple choress 🤍🦋 And it was my first ever anime ..... 💗It's a very precious memory that I unlocked listening to this lofi 🧭 My love for Studio Ghibli is ✨✨.....
I saw Spirited Away for the first time when I was about 15 and I forced my mom to watch it. I guess she thought it was good. 😅 Of course this was the same woman who took me to see quest for Camelot and removed me from the theater when they started cursing in The Iron Giant 🫠
