Although born into a Catholic home, Linda Torres’s family didn’t practice the faith. She went to join the choir as a teenager only because her cute neighbor was in the choir. Looking back, she realized God’s love was ever-present in her life in some way or another. A deep connection with Jesus began after a confession. She felt the Lord was calling her to a deeper bond with Him, but she kept ignoring it. Finally, by divine providence, a message from Pope Francis, then-Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio, helped her discern her vocation and consecrate her life to her Savior.
