Reportedly, withdrawal symptoms, often resembling those of benzodiazepine withdrawal, play a role in the physical dependence of some user’s experience. Some of the most commonly reported withdrawal symptoms include agitation, confusion, disorientation, upset stomach, and sweating. In some cases, users experienced delirium and withdrawal seizures, which may only respond to the re-administration of Neurontin (gabapentin). Same with serotonin-dopamine activity modulators (SDAMs). Frequent side effects include akathisia and extrapyramidal symptoms (Parkinson's), are rather high. In short, these drugs cause four main extrapyramidal symptoms: pseudoparkinsonism, akathisia, acute dystonia, and tardive dyskinesia. The first three usually begin within a few weeks of starting a new medication (or increasing the dosage).
