Id be down for pay like 8-10 bucks a month for high quality research. I understand that access to information both current and ancient information can cost. And i just wanna say i love your inspired thiugh that comes through your videos!
Hi it is Great to hear from you! I like what you said about slide shows, this medium is audio/visual after all. It would be amazing to have a few relevant screen changes in a session. For example if you mentioned an area then a map or a symbol or work of art then a picture? I dont know how easy or difficult it would be to effect something like that? Research, taking 100s of pages of notes, synthesizing those ideas into rough loose drafts, polishing the drafts, filming the video, and editing the video simply takes too much time. Further, most people don't watch long hour-long lectures, only a small minority of people do. If you want to grow an audience, your video format has to appeal to a mass audience. You would have to transition into 10-15 minute long videos, with some background visuals, some basic "old camera footage" effects, and some background ambient/ethereal music for mood. You would also have to become "active" on other social media platforms to redirect the traffic flow to your channel, instead of relying on people's search results and RU-vid's algorithm. You can become "active", in a superficial business way. Further, you might want to start a new channel to refresh the algorithm. --- Also, you could start another channel examining the mythological motifs found in media that has a lot of traction, like a popular anime series (there are more young people on the web than there are old) or a popular TV show.
I have a better business models for you, one that will grow subscribers and produce income. Basically, the best way to grow a community is on foot. In order to promote your channel, you need to go to events where people speak (workshops, seminars, etc. Look on social media). Attend a few to have random conversations and to network with the speakers. This should help open up opportunities to become a speaker yourself. Relying on your existing community has its limits. If you want to put more effort into the channel, and get paid, then you need to take your content to the real world. It is easier to speak to a crowd than to make and edit a video, and such speaking engagements can bring income too. Your RU-vid channel is therefore a portfolio you could use to convince organisers to allow you to speak. Old school is still the best school... Additionally, feel free to contact temples occasionally and ask if someone is willing to be interviewed (they are likely to share the interview with their congregation)
