Spiritual Warfare: Custody of the Mind 

I love Father Corapi and miss him. We could really use his preaching right now. I hope he is doing well.

This happened to me for 41 years. I was saved by a miracle last November. Viva Cristo Rey!

I avoided listening to Zachary King for years because I just wasn't interested. When I finally did, I found it to be a very moving testimony to the mercy of God. Same thing with Fr. Corapi. I loved listening to his story and found it to be a beautiful testimony of God's love.

I SAW ZAK KING AT A PARISH TO YEARS AGO IN MICHIGAN. HE WENT INTO DETAIL, I AM GLAD HE DID. IT HELPS ME TO REALIZE THE GRAVITY AND DEPTH OF EVIL THAT WE HAVE TO FACE. I AM GLAD HE DIDNT GENERALIZE. MOST OF THE PEOPLE IN THE PEWS HAVE BEEN FEED MUSH FOR 60 YEARS. IT WAS VERY REFRESHING TO HEAR ABOUT HOW JESUS AND THE BLESSED MOTHER APPEARED TO HIM AND SAVED HIM.

I try to only give a glimpse of my testimony. And me being Italian, know all too well about strong emotions. Please pray for me to get the victory over unrighteous anger.

Sounds similar to the 12 steps of AA. I tried it as a catholic and it does work and has brought me closer to my Lord the Redeemer and his Mother and the Holy Trinity and has taken away all cravings, urges and weaknesses that makes one susceptible to the wickedness and wiles of the devil and the infernal spirits!

I had to stop listening to a talk with Zachary King and get out my booklet of Spiritual Warfare prayers and pray several of the prayers. I was deeply disturbed by him and his presentation.

As revert to the faith, who lost the faith when I left a Franciscan Friary, and is going through the process of deliverance from the demonic through the Diocese, I can tell you this. Learn to forgive, cling to His Passion. Dive into regular, frequent confession and most of all, even when the doubts creep in, the feelings of disgust and illness try to prevent you from going to Mass are strongest, GO. Have the Eucharist. This custody of the mind is real, this battle for your soul is massively real. Posession, Opression etc are extemely real. If it happens to you you will NEVER be the same, but neither will your family , friends and aquaintances. Live the Gospel and keep your mind solely on Him. If you are going through what I'm going through, I am praying for you!

I rather spend my time praying the rosary and thinking about Jesus not hearing about all of the evil that is out in the world because that is already very obvious to me. How can anyone not know because its all over the place and the best weapon against evil and sinfulness is the Holy Rosary. Saint Pio called the Holy Rosary his weapon..

I assume that the Holy Spirit prompts us to exercise exercise the virtue of prudence and to to ahare details of our sinful lives. Also, the devil tempts us with the vice of curiosity to open the door to things that will harm our souls. Pray, go to confession monthly and trust the care of our Blessed Mother.

It’s hard enough to have sinned and be humble enough to go to confession. I think giving details over and over again in a sharing manner or a spiritual talk can really cause extra temptation to pride because of the purpose of feeling good that you beat the temptations-even when giving credit to God. It is sharing overdone, I think, and oftentimes causes those you are sharing with to misinterpret the reason for talking about one’s sinful life repeatedly.
