I'm from Indonesia. I really respect you for being brave to speak out the harsh truth, that sadly most people don't like to hear. There are a lot of logical, rational, sensible, & true points you make in your video. But again, it's sad how most people can't even think for themselves such simple facts. There is now a popular phrase called "toxic positivity", and sadly that describes well the human's nature especially today. People just only want to hear "good vibes, happy vibes", even if it's at the cost of denial, ignorance, delusions, & stupidity. Sad but true reality. I'm confused, it feels like the statement sadhguru is making is basically: Coronavirus is good in the eyes of Shiva. I'm not knowledgeable about Hinduism but isnt Shiva largely seen as a God of Destruction?, i mean i know its more complicated than that, but it sounds almost like a pro-extinctionist sentiment. I probably wouldve just said "yeah, covid is dancing across the world, and i like it too"
I am a follower of Acharya Prashant and I am able understanding your viewpoint because of him only. As I started asking questioning my beliefs because of him and seek rationality and ethics. However, Acharya Prashant is just asking people to know themselves, spirituality is all about self knowledge through self inquiry, it require facts. Its only purpose is to liberate oneself from life's suffering for the one's who are living it. Anyways to teach you is not the motive of my comment. I want to ask a doubt that what should I do now after I understood extinctionism? Should I kill myself? I have already decided to be an antinatalist. Everybody is suffering but does that mean we should kill ourselves, maybe through euthanasia? What should we do man, either fight with this suffering or die. Even you are suffering now because you have taken up the movement to spread to aware the people who are ignoring their suffering, still you are striving with this suffering. Why man? What makes you move? Probably something which in you asking you to not lose to this suffering?
Extinctionism is about Extinction of all life which can suffer and die. Just like you said you are Suffering or others are suffering. It's not just humans but animals are also suffering. Farm animals or wild animals because of suffering in existence and also because of suffering caused by humans. There is predation, starvation, natural disasters, diseases etc and most importantly Natural Death which is for all living beings. Extinctionism is not about promortalism or killing yourself but to liberate other animals from suffering and death that is making everyone extinct. The point of the first video is spirituality means not being stupid. Second video "virus is also life" (although it's debatable) seems like some information I can buy for 50 rs in 3rd standard book! You people pay 1000s of bucks and listen to these criminals. So I'm damn sure ur dumb.
