Once, a non-believer said to me, "God is the product sold to people who believe in religion." Being more spiritual than religious, myself, I replied, "God is the source of all power, for those who believe in themselves." I was kinda proud of that one, lol Blessings Be ❤️☀️🙏

@@stargirl3459one doesn't have to have a religion or practice one. You can be spiritual without practicing any religion. Did you watch the video at all? Religion is just an organised tradition.
Spirituality is a bigger spectrum than being religious. We don't need religion to be spiritual. I am a spiritual person. I respect nice people more than religion regardless which religion they are from. I know some staunch religious people who are very nice to me. They keep their religion to themselves and practise friendship with others. I really like them. They can understand that it is their choice to strictly follow and practise their religion and it is my choice to be liberal. None of us are wrong. But, i can't get along with those who think only what they believe and practise is correct and right.
Here's how i define spirituality, and religion. Spirituality is much more concerned with things that transcend the material world. Religion on the other hand is much more of a social institution that is comprised of beliefs, and practices that recognize the sacred. So in other words. Religion is way more complex than spirituality.
from rules of religion, sometimes i feel trapped and confused about my worth as a person because of rules 1)don't eat this, don't wear that, women/ men can't do that ect. what does all this have to do with who i am in Spirit , it's all so shallow and external. Unimportant to me. i don't feel the freedom to enjoy life and dive deeper as if i have a limit. One time i told my priest of a prophetic word i got one time. and all he is said is to "is to stick to what i read in the Bible". Why is it bad to want to enjoy God's power in the present , instead of reading about him like a distant figure?and what is wrong in wanting to know him more personally apart from what i read, i want to see and feel, not just read about it because it's so BORING😭. They all preach this ,i doubt they know what it is really like.

On what do you base your definitions? You seem to create a strawman that you then can easily knock down. While it is true that there are many religions that focus on man-made rules and practices, Jesus came to reveal who the Creator is and to provide a payment for sin that leads to true freedom and forgiveness. Looking inside one's finite self to try to encounter the infinite is a futile exercise. Depending upon one's experiences is dangerous, because Satan appears as an angel of light in order to deceive. Truth is that which aligns with reality. If God IS real, then all the "feelings" in the world won't change His character and His holiness, nor lead us to a true knowledge of who He is. True spirituality is found in accepting His revelation to us through His Son.
