More and more HVAC systems are designed with two separate circuits: The primary loop with a constant speed pump driving flow through the boiler and a separate secondary loop with a variable speed pumps delivering flow through various zones.
When installed between the two circuits, the Spirovent Quad is the common pipe (decoupler/hydraulic separator). Not only does it eliminate the need for closely spaced tees, thereby saving on installation time, it also eliminates the need for a separate air separator.
The Spirovent Quad is completely filled with coalescing medium to effectively remove 100% free, 100% entrained and 99.6% dissolved air from both the primary and secondary loops. A large collection chamber on the bottom collects debris and strong neodymium magnets capture fine ferrous material that would otherwise deposit as black sludge in other system components.
