I have always liked Spitfires as their shape is nice with those elliptical wings and their fuselages and tail assemblies. Not only were they beautiful but very efficient fighters designed for England's defense. And they did their job remarkably well too. For me they are prettier than the angular Me109. And the video is very nice as it shows the amazing agility of this aircraft.

James Gollan we know between the two spitfires only got 45 percent of the kills whereas the hurricane got 55 percent both beautiful aircraft and they should both be praised and don’t get me wrong I love the hurricane but in the grand scheme of things think about how many more hurricanes there were I think that helps to show how efficient the spitfire was.
@@thetourettesgamer8851 both had the same fuel problem, in a steep dive the would be starved for fuel...both amazing planes..The Spitfires lines though made it look better than the Hurricane work horse
This old discussion again. No fighter or bomber type or squadron could have won the war alone. All platforms of fighting effort contributed in their own way and none of them could we have been without.
@@mortenBP Yeah...it gets really stupid after awhile. Same old thing said over and over again. They just parrot what they've heard. There were 18 Spit squadrons during the Battle, and 29 Hurricane squadrons. Of course the Hurricanes got more kills. They say it as though the number of kills mean that the Hurri was a better airplane, or at least as good as the Spitfire. C'mon now. It wasn't.
