The office is still one of the most popular shows currently, it doesn’t make any sense… if it was gonna get “canceled”, would that have happened already?

@@edmundschupp8111 one streaming service removing one episode isn’t evidence that ‘the office would be canceled in 2022’ lol. its airing on multiple cable networks at all hours of the day. the existing fanbase point also makes no sense. the last five seasons of curb have been far more ‘politically incorrect’ than any seasons of the office, & it is an incredibly profitable program. people love crying about this ‘cancel culture’ boogeyman that doesnt exist and it will never cease to amaze me
@@griffinwalker823 again Curb came out in 1999. People have been in love with Larry David since beginning of Seinfeld in late 80s. What the point that the writer who’s worked in prime time media for decades & I are saying is that if diversity day came out December 8th 2022 there isn’t this leeway you had in 2006. Social media expedites “out of context” clips & it wouldn’t get a second chance on prime time NBC. Cancel culture doesn’t exist. It just makes it harder to be successful when you go against the grain.
Im not quite understanding the Jim boeheim hate from big cat. As a pitt fan id do anything to get jamie dixon back and i think Syracuses success in march madness is great. Having a coach that regularly gets to march madness is rarer than i thought. Sometimes you dont know what you have til its gone....
