This is the real Ronald Reagan, as seen thru the eyes of the British. For some reason we have a wonderfully idealistic view of him even today. Why can't we see that much of our trouble today started with him and his ideas.

When Reagan was in charge of the US of A, I was in my late teens. Even though I was pretty much pro-American at the time (pro cruise missiles but critical of US foreign policy in Nicaragua) I witnessed this buffoon surviving the Iran-Contra scam, bombing Tripoli in revenge of the deaths of two US soldiers, etc. etc. And who can forget his impromptu speech when he thought the microphone was not live but it was, declaring the Soviet Union illegal and that bombing would start in a few moments.
