flash was being pressured all game long after the failed attempt of the bunker rush and my mis-micro, leading to the death of his first army. effort's pressure kept flash on his toes all game long but he had good defense. he expired all his resources trying to secure the 6 o'clock and trying to kill the 7 o'clock expansion, but since effort practically had over 6 expansions, all he had to do was to keep flash on bay. effort basically starved flash and won.
@r3z3nd3 You are mostly right, but I think, if you go for hatch with a bunker, get 3 SCVs with you. And overlord snipe attempt was the big fail: -5 marines in the beginning = +1 base for the zerg.
12:41 WTF the lurker died from the splash damage while being under dark swarm. Usually they don't die I've seen them didn't take damage lots of times why is this? Is it a chance % or something?
@ordinarygamer94 dude the first lurker died from the mine but when the two tanks where sieging he was entering the swarm and THERE WAS NO MINE! I didn't see one coming and the two tanks shoot and the lurker dies. I mean the last lurker at 12:39
@PrettySneaky Do you think, Effort's taken it from Flash? I think, that Flash just made a lethal mistake in the very beginning, allowed zerg to take a monstrous economy and then was reluctant to GG. It was just a big early fail by Flash, not top-notch play by Effort, imho.
@friendbg using more SCV mean loosing more economy. Very often, terrans use to many SCV on there bunker rush and even thought they succeed to kill the hatchery they are still behind because they lost to many SCV. Flash didn't want do make this mistake. It didn't pay off. It wasn't a strategic lost, Effort won fair and square.
do you people seriously think that flash is capable of making this many mistakes in his current form!? If flash wanted that hatchery dead at the beginning he would have killed it, by simply bringing a couple of scv's for support. This is clearly a strategy. Effort will go down, and he won't even see it coming..
archons atacking under swarm are atacking with their splash only, thats why its ok vs lings but u wil never kill ultralisk like this. Siege tank firing on lurker burrowed under swarm can never hit it, therefore tanks can kill only lurker next to target, but only with the splash part (cause burrow). The displacing thing is another part not so relevant.
Slayer Chessi that's not true, if the unit is attacking one lurker but the archon or tanks miss lands on a unit, that's a direct hit. which is why I never let my units stack under swarm.
@NachiMeNachiMe Nice try, but you are wrong. RANGED Splash (tank, archon) attacks are displaced by the swarm (by one matrix towards the firing unit afaik), therefore while it will do only 50% damage to the target it will also do full damage to a nearby unit it actually lands on (if there is one there that is), i.e. it does not do less damage it does damage "elsewhere". This is not applicable to reavers because scarabs are considered a melee attack. Also archons absolutely suck under swarm.
