Jaedong goes from up a base to down a base in one rather odd muta transition. Generally when you see zerg down a base the game is just over, but jaedong kept his muta active and transitioned into a beautiful defense with defiler lurker. he has some trouble keeping the skies clear (corsairs and stormdrops gave him some trouble) but manages to hold the ground army back for 15 minutes, down a base. If it weren't for the bad muta switch early, and fast fourth, this could have been a different game
Jaedong had him at one point, when the toss was down to 2 bases (natural and 12) toss committed to jaedong main entrance, where jaedong had lurks/defiler/lings etc, and he also had 2 groups of hydras at his 3rd, if he flanked instead (after he killed all the lots) instead of nydusing them through to his main, he would've destroyed the goon count as well as toss ball. Jaedong's micro seemed subpar. nonetheless props to the toss for outplaying jaedong in every aspect.
Seems like I rarely ever see Protoss use Reavers to take out Spore Colonies from a distance before sending Observers + ground units in to take out Lurkers in a turtled Zerg base, but Horang2 pulls it off here!
I saw that late in the game horange got the +25 damage reaver upgrade . Is that common? I've rarely seen it before. Also, JD was at huge disadvantage- +3 attack for horange ground when he had 0/0/0
awesome gameplay . . . srsly, horang's ability to pump out unit explosively and his play style should be observed by all tosses out there. by which i mean stork.
zerg need queens at the end. queens could ensnare large groups and slow down an already slow high-profile target (reavers). plus they could be one-shotting dragoons with broodlings. then you keep boosting field units as well and you can also parasite their observers >=D
horang is a great player but he makes silly mistakes that really let him down. vs bisu and stork recently he lost reavers purely due to neglect and poor micro. at 16:25 he mistimed he zealot rush - where he only needed to wait for 30 seconds before the upgrade was done. he could have ran into main and by then the lots would have had legs....
사실상 뮤탈 모아서 토스 진영 갔을때 스커지 6기정도만 데려갔어도 거기서 겜 끝난건데 ㅋㅋ 거기서 뮤탈 다 꼬라박고.. 난 순간 눈을 의심했다. 승부조작인가? 티 안나게 건물때렸나? 이제동도 확신이 있어서 뮤탈 안펼치고 점사한 거 같은데 무슨 방3업 커세어마냥 죽지도 않고 ㅋㅋ 근데 거기서 뮤탈 한부대를 꼬라박아도 이미 4멀티라 저그가 겁나 유리하고 이경민은 아콘 한두기만 놓고 가도되는 걸 본진 버리고 저그 기지 달리는데 여기서도 앞마당이랑 본진 내줬으면 상대 본진 깨고 12시깨고 다시 본진 재건하는 거 견제 넣어야되는데 그걸 못한 게 두번째 패착 세번째 패착은 테크랑 업글이 느려서 초 중반까지 휘둘리지만 애초에 저그 기지가 1시방향이어서 덩이당 500 이상씩은 손해를 본다고 치면 남북으로 반반가면 이기는데 결국에 버티지 못한 것이 패착. 사실상 세 종족중에서 풀업했을때 제일 효율 좋은게 테란 메카닉 그다음 하이브 저그 제일 구린 것이 토스라 하이브 터진 이후에는 토스가 아콘 다콘 조합을 가지 않는 이상 질드로는 이기기 힘들지
