0:49 I've known from experience with boats growing up that you should always have something like a decent sized oar in your motorboat for if and when there is a mechanical failure of your supposedly advanced propulsion device.
When I seen this scene, I’m thinking he might be the daddy mermaid that could swim miles away. I’ve seen the mermaid city at the end of the movie was really pretty. I wonder if there might be a wide town full of mermaids and merman
People who say you should be honest all the time, they don't realize that sometimes that can be stupid, like for Allan there. Allan admitted he couldn't swim, and look what Fat Jack put him through as a result. Had Allan just kept his mouth shut, or lied if Fat Jack was forcing an answer out of him, like where Allan made up a lie about how he missed those boat rides in small boats with his wife before she left him, so now it feels lonely without her, Fat Jack just would've kept doing his job like normal.
