Do you have to buy a separate ticket just to use the water park, even if just in the evening, if you stay here. If so, would you (personally) buy the ticket if funds are tight, or have two days on the main rides? (Bearing in mind we live quite far away and this will be the first time for my kids who are teenagers). Cheers for posting this 🌻
Yes unfortunately the Waterpark is a separate park to the Theme Park so would require separate tickets. I'd say as this is your first time at Alton Towers spend two days on the main rides itself as the park is huge - if you enjoy it enough the Waterpark can be considered on a return trip!
