The bulls spending time with their ladies ❤️ It is so adorable to see Tokwe and Somopane having a tender moment. In another video a few weeks ago, Somopane had affectionately leaned his head against Tokwe as he entered a mud hole. I think they all respect or love Tokwe.

In and around 8:22 minutes into the video, I absolutely LUV how Somopane has completely submerged his entire face under the water! Bum up! Face down! lol And he holds his breath for a very long time! And then he stands the wrong way in the wind while he is dusting himself with sand, poor fella. He would get much more coverage if he turned around.

I wondered where Khanyisa was, and then she popped up. Of course right there in the middle of everyone. She loves her swim time! 🌊💖💖

🐘❣Every elephant is in a state of bliss in that water. 1:30 Jabulani's jubilance in splashing brings a long-lasting smile & his, and the rest of the herd's, joy is infectious. I love it when they go underwater & we see their trunk come up for air, it's like a living cartoon. Such remarkable animals. 12:21 is one of the most beautiful moments captured on video. HERD Elephant Orphanage, IMO, is one of the wealthiest places in the world. Wealth in the sense of nature, creation, animal love & beautiful human beings. How blessed is Ms. Adine & all the elephant carers who work there? I don't think much in life could compare with their level of wealth. How blessed are we that they share the elephants & their lives with us?

This is a very happy herd. The carers really care about these orphans. The elephants know that too! Long live our majestic and intelligent giants.❤❤❤🐘

It's so cute, when they're submerged, how the tip of their trunk sneaks above the water like a little periscope...(SMILE)...I never thought of that before!

Look at all those beautiful little submarines with their periscopes up. 😂😂 Such a wonderful sight to see them splashing, kicking, and swimming in the dam. Was not sure where our pink "princesses" was since she was the same color as the rest, but there was our baby by her sister Timisa. They love the water so much. With all the water being moved around, it sounds like the ocean. 🐘❤️🐘❤️🐘❤️🐘❤️

When Jabulani really smashes his trunk is he playing or some purpose like stirring the water up? Also when they go totally under do their ears get water in them or they close up? They sure are enjoying their time in the lovely muddy water 🤪🤣. Took awhile to see Khanyisa the water baby dunking herself! 💖.

Tokwe looked like she was meditating in the water and Bubi was waiting for space because she knew she was going to tear it up out there. 😂 She loves to splash!

Love it that we are seeing a little bit more of our smart Dean Somopane His tusks are so impressive though close to Tokwe he is like her Knight Servant but in the end he does his dusting solo in a remote corner of the Dam Today there were other unsual things Jabu splashing about a long time but taking care to be far away from Sebakwe. Bubi,who is usually on the banks of the Dam, took advantage that the other Ellies were out of the water (but Sebakwe who has to maintain his reputation of last in the water) to go for a dip and splashed with delight before coming back on the banks and be affectionately greeted by her son Zindoga Gentleman Fishan as usual was completely submerged before towering near his girlies Timisa Pisa Khanyisa and lover boy Mambo The whole Herd having a ball at the Dam and so did we ❤️🐘❤️

Hi Adine Have you tried playing the piano for the elephants? Paul Barton in Thailand has been doing this for some years and they respond magnificently. Would be interesting to see if African elephants react in the same way. Thank you for your wonderful work for these amazing animals.
