Emile was the sole reason I got into Splatoon, and as such, I have now completed the Inkling Boy and Girl Amiibo challenges, the entire singleplayer campaign with all Sunken Scrolls and Hero Gear upgrades. Now, Splatoon 2 releases today, and I'm going to play the hell out of it.

Yeah me too :) I never even knew about splatoon before he played it. I have 500+ hours on the first game and getting close to 300 hours on Splatoon 2. I’ve tried to speed run the first game’s single player but it didn’t go that well as... speedrunners are too dedicated >n>

I had heard of it and knew it was a shooter about painting the ground. However I had no idea how amazing the game actually was until this LP. I didn't have a WiiU but I got a Switch and have been playing Splatoon 2 since launch day.

Shipping RU-vidrs is pretty silly, but not unheard of (see Michael and Gavin of Achievement Hunter). Regardless, I definitely ship Chuggaa and Masae.

SuperRadRex no. They’re just friends, and masae is actually dating someone who isn’t chugga. While I sympathize with people who ship them, the truth is that boys and girls can IN FACT just be friends with 0 romantic interest in each other.

Looking back on this video it's actually kinda cringe, but weirdly nostalgic. Amazing how much attention this got over the years, spent a lot of time editing this back in high school. Some people commented like they were talking to Chugga but, seriously? Anyways, Splatoon 3 hype as of writing, this game actually meant lots and got me through some dark stuff, I hope to make some of my own gaming content on here soon enough. About that, I was gonna do more streaming until my old mic broke and Comcast kept throttling my speed. So I'm content just doing edited content for now and finding my space in that. I'm happy people are finding out about this very cool series through this video, also the sequel to which is in the works.

I love chugga for how often he gets me into a new game, but this was amazing. Ever since I saw this Lp I have played this game none stop. This has even been the first game I’ve ever played competitively and I’ve reached s+, all thanks to chuggaa’s super in depth analyses and everything. This has become my favorite game of all time (besides xenoblade which he ALSO introduced to me) and I am so grateful that you did this game Emile. I love your work and I hope that I can laugh with you for many years to come. As a 15 year old I look up to you with a huge amount of respect. May you show me new worlds to explore for a long time, as long as you’re really feeling it that is!

My first expirence of Splatoon was in Mario Maker of all things. I was playing a music level for Zinnia’s theme from Pokémon and they used an Inkling instead of Zinnia because there is no costume for Zinnia.

Hi, I speak some Japanese. Coro Coro is actually just a word used to describe any rolling object. If you buy a rolling lent remover in Japan its referred to as the same thing. The magazine itself is named for that same meaning.
