It was stated by Hisashi Nogami (the producer of the Splatoon games) in an interview that the inklings eat veggies, birds, fishes and even squids.

5:26 Funny story. I was playing Splatoon with a streamer and I was so tired I fell asleep and woke up like 2 minutes later and they were like: “I guess Opti had to go somewhere?” Then I started panicking and I started to apologize and they told me to fall asleep but I was laughing so much I couldn’t. So then when the stream ended I immediately fell alseep. The End.

Judd is actually super influential and has links to the leaders of the world in Splatoon. He was worshiped in the last as seen in that Egyptian Inkling scroll. So Judd is living a very comfy life. He's immortal? Old at least very old, super smart and speaks to the inklings via telekinesis. This is all splatoon lore I learned from watching a recent video (Rassicas' Splatoon Ice Berg)

There are no mammels except Judd. The rest are extinct. The inklings and other creatures are just evolved versions of squids. The food chain still exists. So squids can still eat squid or other sea foods. While Inklings are sentient, their animal counterparts are not. So it's like how we eat fish.

Getting ready for splatoon 3 I see?

The BGM is a bit too quiet for my taste. The video style is more calm in general which is kinda nice and refreshing but I would like the music a bit louder^^ Also It's always good to see some more Splatoon. It's still a nice game to play now and then :D
