I think Ultra Stamp might have been worth a mention for being completely bugged at the start of S3 and still not really working out as an entry tool for many of the weapons it's paired with
7:34 id like to add the only reason splash is a meta weapon right now is because it’s the only crab weapon that has a sub and can fight and paint. some teams have even been using splat dualies as a replacement for it so i think what really needs to happen is we need a new crab kit
Reefslider:Inconsistent as shit Stamp: beginning S3 was so bad .52: a mini tank Both Jrs: bomb and special spam Carbon Deco: burst bomb gives it unparalleled movement and kill options Respawn Punisher as a whole: you touched on it a little, but I feel like RP deserves it’s own section Sploosh: it’s braindead mains Fizzy: combo bomb and jack of all trades bomb Splat Bomb: throw it at feet as a get off me tool, versatile as a whole Roller donut hitboxes: sometimes rollers flat out miss their attack because of a hole in their hitboxes Heavy Edit: insane fire rate with Tacticooler and great paint N-Zap: quintessential support, with great paint and good fighting power H3: competes with UCB for the worst weapon in the game, with zero synergy from it’s kit Goo: entire mechanic revolves around it’s extended charge hold, instead it’s outclassed by Squiffer Undercover Brella: worst weapon in the game by far, with a flimsy shield, shit damage, and loose kit synergy The maps: barring a few, they follow a same pattern and feel claustrophobic I could go on, but I can’t think of anymore for now
Shooter privilege is still a thing for some reason. Also clash is one of the worst weapons in the game with terrible paint and movement, horrid dps, and the neo kit is probably the worst weapon in the game. Dynamo is slow, inconsistent, ink hungry, and the vertical flick is a joke. Big bubbler gets shredded by everything, worst special in the game, and is extremely hard to buff. Outside of that, you covered pretty much everything else. I hope you make an updated one soon!
I know this video is outdated but I wanted to make notes on this anyway -tenta missiles are an awfully designed special but they aren't broken mainly because of their cooldowns and there's really only 1-3 good options for it -wavebreaker doesn't combo into anything relevant in the meta and all the backlines with wavebreaker have tanked off a cliff. This special is bad. -vac's blast radius is huge but the special itself is still very punishable because it's vulnerable while in use and there's no way to end the special early. It's in the catergory of "zones cheese" at the moment -cooler is a healthy special but yes the respawn time is broken. With cooler you can get a triple kill and it just won't matter because the enemy team can regroup in five seconds allowing for essentially no time to get a push going. -zooka's ability to get kills on accident has been toned back but the argument that you shouldn't use it up close isn't entirely correct when the main reason it's complained about is its absurd startup speed. -about X rank, this is just me but I would personally rather have longer queue times to be matched with and against players that are my skill level than just get crappy teammates faster. -splatanas are insanely strong main weapons but that's what makes them interesting and fun. They're in a great spot because they feel powerful to use but are held back because their kits are well designed but not game-breaking. -crab is still a good option but it's not the face of the meta anymore mainly because there's other good options and they're just getting zooka'd to death. Splash has had plenty of competition but it wasn't strong just because it was a shooter with crab tank. Splattershot pro was a shooter with crab tank yet it essentially never saw the light of day. -ballpoint and jetpack power creep were a big deal but the weapon has tanked off a cliff because of snipewriter
