Nintendo doesn't _have_ to do this but they *do.* I love that they give us these Sploon concerts especially since the idol/music group thing is a big part of what Splatoon is. It really adds to my enjoyment of the game and makes the world feel more immersive.

This concert was a real treat. It looks really fun. I wish a lot of us could go in person. But wow, all of these songs slap harder than Frye smacking Big Man (poor manta). It was so cool seeing Off The Hook join in! A nice surprise before Side Order.

It’s killing me inside that we didn’t get a live audience for this. Imagine the excitement when Pearl and Marina showed up, imagine the audience participation during the finale. It would’ve been so beautiful 😭

It really sucks that this performance couldn't be safely held live, but I'm happy that they were able to gather and record a version of the concert for us to watch anyway. All of the musicians are so talented, I'm glad we get to see them rocking out before the idols perform. I screamed of joy when I saw the last song. Off hook and Deep cut are a great duo!

im so glad they focused on deep cut and their dances more than random, uneven zoom outs/close ups and cuts to the band. the last performance we barely got to see any of the choreography and had to zoom in ourselves to see them. the camera quality is much better as well, and it has good saturation and contrast so they dont look gray. till depth do us part was amazing and is my favorite song out of the others in the set list

Do not forget that the reason there is no live audience for this or the Zelda orchestra performance is because some pathetic terrible person made threats against organizers of the Splatoon tournament in Tokyo which caused that, the Splatoon finals, and the Mario Kart tournaments, and the whole Nintendo Live event to be cancelled. May that person face justice.

This was so fun but something was really lost without an audience. Listening/watching the previous concerts, you hear people get SO excited hearing their favorite songs or seeing other characters show up or even just the little interactions.
