I noticed that many of you have experienced a situation like this before and this is strangely comforting knowing that i'm not alone. I know how it feels to lose an important part of your life... I've been there with my dog we had back in 2015, and of course, he passed due to feeling extremely sick. I apologize for not getting around to this sooner, but the circumstances for the delay were never clear until I had watched this. It's never easy to let go of someone you've cherished and loved their whole life. It hurts like nothing else, and I've had to experience it a lot with my fluffy companions. But I know in the deepest depths of my heart that even in their last days, amidst all the pain, they were happy whenever they had us by their sides. And I'm sure Jessie was feeling the same way. Even if she could only run through the fields in her dreams, I believe she always pictured you running with her. She never forgot the great memories she had with you, so don't you forget them either. As a dog owner myself, I know how that feels to have a pet that sleeps all day and won't eat anything... My dog (Who I'm not name out for personal reasons) would sleep all day because he was missing one of my parents, He wouldn't eat anything on his plate just sleep under my bed. (That, He was also getting Fleas on his body) When we moved out of my grandpa's house last year in Jan 11th, He got worse... He would pee everywhere inside my room, He would vomit if he DID eat, One time last year he pooped out bloody stool because of a bad diet. We gave him all different treatments to help him go through that pain suffering he went with. Good News is, He's doing much better controlling his fleas and Ear mites. But, He sometimes licks his leg a lot. Months ago, I put his puppy collar on my bedroom wall to honor the stages of he had to go through in his doggy life. A way to as thank you and to keep strong in life.

Im so sorry i had a dog named Micha she been with me ever since i was born... She died at age 14 i cant get over her loss i helped training her... When i was going to get kidnapped she saved me... And i never returned the favor to her she died of a stroke... So i know what pain your going though and they will always be in our hearts

I'm really sorry this happened to you. I've lost two of my dogs before and I know what it's like. One was just getting worse over the days and the other just passed in her sleep. I hope you feel better soon, Take your time. Rest in peace Jessie.

I understand you my friend, we share the pain, I also died a very dear dog that accompanied me for almost all my life, since I was 3 years old from 2003 to 2019. I know how you feel friend, it is difficult to lose to a loved one who literally accompanied you all your life ..... however the most macabre and somewhat black humor is that, after my faithful pet "tropi" died, he left a very large inheritance from beyond. For more than 6 months we were crushing, removing, eliminating and spraying thousands and thousands of ticks that my dog left after he died. Greetings friend and we will wait and support you bro!

Sigh* I remember the day I had to accept the terrible reality that my guinea pig Chocolate wouldn't be able to stay with us any longer. I think it sort of hardened me, as when our second one Brandy died I didn't cry. Chocolate's passing helped me to accept the everything in life including life itself has to come to an end. Always. Not even the universe will last forever. But neither will your mourning for your precious friend. Soon enough, you will have the strength to move on, just as they would've wanted. “Your never dead until your forgotten”, and Jessie will never be forgotten

About a year and a half ago I had to say goodbye to my cat, Misty. Like Jessie, she was with me since childhood; we’d cuddle in bed together, we’d watch cartoons together, we’d even run around outside together. Whenever I would come home from school, she’d always be laying on my bed waiting for me. She was more like a sister than a pet to me, and I loved her so much. When she passed away, words can’t describe how devastated I was; I was crying hysterically for days. And even though I have a new cat now (and don’t get me wrong, he’s also really awesome and I love him too), I knew no other animal could comfort me like she did. I know some people might say, “Come on, it’s just a dog. Suck it up, it’s no big deal”, but that’s bs you know it. Misty was more than a pet to me, she was my friend; and I’m sure you could say the same for you and Jessie. Please, take all the time you need to grieve. As someone who’s been in a very similar situation, don’t feel guilty for your sadness, and don’t push yourself to get the next episode done, no matter what people say. May Jessie rest in peace. Know that she loved you very much. In fact, it’s easier said than done, but, try and love yourself as much as she loved you. That what I was told when Misty died.

I can relate to your hardships. My dog also died on Valentines Day of this year. It takes some time to adjust, but I promise it will get better.

I know all too well the feeling of losing a loved one... a few years ago... my German Shepard who I had grew up with... he sadly passed away from old age too... I remember that day, I wished him goodbye as I was off to school, and I remember the last words I said to him was “I love you”... When I got home... My parents told me that he was laid to rest... I also lost two beloved cats within months of each other last year... both from old age... one was older than me... and the other was exactly one month younger than me... I understand you, I know this feeling when you lose someone you loved, 1 year ago I also lost my dog, he was very helpful and he was my first dog who protected my family and me after 5 months of his death, sometimes I saw a dog that looked like mine who died and always disappeared behind some buildings when I approached the dog. This remains me of our first dog Scarlett. We got her when I was about 5 years old. She was such a nice dog, very friendly and playful. However, during my third year of college, she started to get aggressive which she had never done before. We found out that her hips were in really bad shape and she was in a lot of pain. Along with that, she started to slow down quiet a bit. She stopped playing, she began walking slower, and was having trouble climbing stairs. Then one day when I was at the dorms, I got the call I knew was coming. My parents decided to put Scarlett down. I knew it was coming but still hurt to say good bye to a friend we've had for such a long time. I know how you feel when it comes to this so take you time. Get yourself back on your feet before trying to do the story again. You'll always miss your friend but the pain will fade given time.

I understand... from 2017 to now I’ve been sad I lost my father due to copd in 2017, in 2019 my friend was injured in a building fire (I’m a volunteer firefighter myself) a couple months after he passed away due to his injuries, and my dog was just diagnosed with brain cancer. I know that doesn't really matter to a lot of people, but I just want you to know that I have felt the exact way that you have. We are all here to support you and help you. I had a similar case just like this yesterday when my sister and I lost our pet bird, it happened yesterday and it was a baby... I used to go to the nearby river near my place with my neighbor’s dog and always threw it's favorite water toy into the river for the dog to go get and bring back to shore. He died in either 2016 or 2017 and I’m considering adopting a pup so I can train it to swim and relive those memories. I still miss him dearly to this day.

Losing someone that was with you since your childness hurts very badly... I know this feeling since the same thing happened to me too, I lost my dog who was with me since I was 3 years old, it was 2 years ago but still the scars are here... So I can understand that you need to recover mentally from that, it took me about few months to recover from this... Even my parents saw how much I was depressed to lose her company... And it wasn't good to see me like this... You have all my condolences, I hope you'll manage to recover from this tragedy.

I lost my dog... he was small and fluffy. I knew he was getting old because he was also getting sick. One morning I woke up to start going to The Castle (I live in New York) to go on some cool rides because it was my friends birthday. I looked at the kitchen door and saw his bed with a blanket on top of something. When my parents told me the news I was so sad, my father kinda cared but, he was usually the one to kinda kick him around when he got sick. I also have a cat and she was looking for him and, meowing at the ceiling. I felt so sad and wanted to cry but, I had to put on a fake smile for my friends birthday. Please remember to keep your pets healthy, and safe. Don't forget to give them lots of live too. Please pay your respects and stories that are similar in the chat. Aw man I know the feeling. I lost my dog when I was thirteen, he was thirteen too. My best buddy since the....start. He was older me I think. One day I found him dead in a little cold winter day. One of my dogs died recently so I can some what feel your pain. We had to give her to a different family when I was 5 so I never really knew her, but when I heard the news, I was heart broken. I lost my own pet a long time ago, although it was just a fish, I tried my best to care for it like a friend. I named it Gold and I loved talking to it for no reason no matter how many times I was teased by my family for doing so. But one thing I know, is that losing a pet/friend even if your family accidently caused your loss, means that you can now learn from what happened and keep all the good memories for a while. Just because they are gone, does not mean you can forget them for good. (Here's a small hug 🤗)

I feel your pain bro. I lost my little brother to a car accident. He was crushed in between the seats and couldn’t get out. He couldn’t breathe, move, or talk. He died of suffocation. Though I want to make more and more content for others on my channel, its been hard to even pick up a stylus pen. Sometimes getting out of bed is a struggle because my little furry baby won't be there by my window in my room waiting for me. But this isn't about me, this is me wanting to support you. Ohh no, I’m so sorry for your loss... I know how you feel, my big brother’s boxer, Copper had cancer... we were all very sad about.... the doctors tried EVERYTHING in their power to help Copper, but, there was nothing that they can do to help him..... so they had to put him sleep to let him die.... don’t worry, I know the feeling very well... but it’s ok: your dog and Copper are in a better place..... no one can hurt or kill them ever again:,)...
