I miss all the functions the Splatoon 1 amiibos had. Don’t get me wrong, i love the cute outfits you get but i feel like if it had those extra functions like mini games and being able to look at the idols perform, it’d be worth the money moreso.
Splatoon 1 may be the outdated one in many categories, but one thing it will always have above the other games is how astronomically well they handled the amiibo inclusion
I really miss the function of amiibos from the first game, it was cool to replay story mode levels with extra challenges and it made getting the exclusive gear feel earned.
I really wish they did the same thing they did the Callie and Marie amiibos were you could listen to their songs without a splatfest being held to the off the hook amiibos. Let’s hope they at least do it with the deep cut amiibos if we get them which we probably will lol
yup, me too but from someone pointing it out before it even released, but some people couldn’t even see what the “top” gear was, since the quality on it was so crunchy and stuff lol

Do yall think the S3 yellow Inkling amiibo will give two versions of its gears (since the previous school uniforms had a feminine and masculine version) ? 🤔 The clothes look pretty unisex so probably not but it'd be cool if we got a variation of it to continue the 'tradition' ngl
I mean, I get it. In Splatoon 2 and onward, you get Snapshot mode, the amiibo can use the gear saved on it, you get the gear almost immediately, yada yada yada. But at the cost of the minigames, the original hero weapons and, most importantly, the challenges that the amiibos gave you. Honestly, it's a good way to farm money aswell. You'll be swimming in them after beating all challenges (but your pay won't be this high after that). And not only that, having the Squid Sisters perform when scanning their amiibo is a good way to preserve the Splatfest plaza ambience.
I swear if we don’t have missions, ima cry. We probably won’t. Pls do though! You can’t just add something and be like: oh everyone liked this? Let’s take it away
@@c3gfboy7 you’ve been able to dab with amiibos since release lol even if you didn’t have it before getting it in the catalog all emotes we have so far are usable in photo mode (with amiibos only for some reason)
