Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist offers two player CO OP mode with 4 mission types, 14 maps with 2 player split-screen.
Play as Sam Fisher or Isaac Briggs (a CIA operative) and work as a duo : help your teammate access parts of the maps you couldn't access on your own, create your own tactics depending on your Play Style and watch each other's back as you complete missions.

I just started playing co-op with my brother today. And man it was so much fun. I'm so mad I missed out on this game and experience 8 years ago! That's just insane! Co-op is definitely a 10 out 10 for me!

You do realize that Splinter Cell was around nearly a decade before Assassin's Creed and that Assassin's Creed is actually heavily influenced by Splinter Cell as a lot of the Ubi team on AC came from SC?

Blacklist is a mix between Conviction and the first Splinter Cell games. Also they add some things that sure may have been inspired from other games but not particularly from Assassins Creed. You know that you can walk freely in a plane which you'll find yourself in after each mission? If anything, it's probably inspired from Mass Effect. You see? They don't try to be another game. They just use old ideas and mix it together to make a new koncept. All together it creates a new game experience.

JNChannel95 Unfortunately it lacks the difficulty level of the originals and acts more as an action thriller than a spy one. It is impossible to ghost every mission which is unfortunate

Hmm I hope they'll have a coop campaign; such as playing the full campaign through coop or have a side campaign that is for coop only like Conviction. This reminds me of Conviction's mp missions (forgot the mode name) but it was a single mission map each play.

Controller support, bro. One person goes on controller, the other goes on keyboard and mouse. It was done on Serious Sam 3 on PC, seems weird that nobody else does it. I'm just dithering about getting it on WiiU or PC.

I know, I own a controller. But the chances of they removing Split Screen for PC is very high still... Because when a person is playing on the laptop, he is likely to block the screen for the other player. But PC game maker should at least know that: WE WANT SPLIT SCREEN FOR PC GAME AS WELL!!!

Yeah I was pretty fucking pissed for a while but it's going to be a good game. Read all the books as well narrating in my head with a Sam Fisher voice... Looking back they have changed Sam Fisher quite a bit, so it's hard to complain, except I don't see how they're going to work Sam Fisher aging - 20 years into the storyline....

What? Never said anything about the animation. I'm pointing out that there is a strong theme of motion (ie "killing in motion"), and motion has always been an ongoing thing in Assassin's Creed, in a way that it hasn't so much in Splinter cell. But I also never said it was a bad thing - "I don't care" were my exact words.

I don't care so much, though I did think it was a little tacky, I was justifying his point of view which you so quickly dismissed, without really thinking about it. it's abundantly clear that between Conviction and Blacklist, inspiration from Asssassin's Creed was taken, especially the whole idea of motion and such.

You're the one who should look up the definition of quantity, what he meant was Ubisoft is the only one that delivers awesome quality for every games with so many games releasing in one or two years. Rockstar games release 1 game every 1 or 2 years only.
