As a child i ve never played any of the splinter cell games cause i thought they were just copies of metal gear , im gonna definitely pick up the hd version after this video , awesome as always
Yeah, they are quite different from each other. Skip the first Splinter Cell, though. It is really rough and rigid. Chaos Theory is the third entry and when the series starts to nail things in my opinion.
I watch a lot of RU-vidrs but your platinum journeys always get put the front of my watch queues, love this content man keep it up! Dead space 1 platinum journey would be great too!

I was a fan of splinter cell series, but getting the remastered version I choose not to get cuz the trophies, so I give you credit for even trying to get the Platinum for it, keep up the great content!!
I need to get back to the Splinter Cell, games, bought the HD trilogy months ago, but only went halfway through SC1. Anyways, great job on the Chaos Theory plat, and the amazing video, and good luck with Uncharted 4, I hear it's a good one.
I had to tap out to SC1 about half way through, that game is rough around the edges. Just skip to Chaos Theory, haha. Oh yes, Uncharted 4 is a fine game.
Man I love Chaos Theory. I'd be such a happy gamer if they'd re-release the HD version for PS4, but this time in a more worthy state. Also you can really see the difference between this video and Shovel Knight as you're happy and relieved that you got all the trophies done where as in the Shovel Knight video it seemed like pure resignation and bit of despair.
This game looks so good, but I cant seem to find the HD collection anywhere, I think this looks even better than mgs4 which is my favorite stealth and overall game of all time. Somehow you manage to make a great and enjoyable video while also making the game you are playing seem fun and interesting, definitely looking forward to eventually getting this game.

I'm hard at work on an Uncharted 4 episode. After countless hours, I now have 7 minutes of the final video done. I'll keep ticking away on it and hope to finish up in the next 2-3 weeks.
I played through 'Chaos Theory' three times and grabbed all of the trophies. I played through the original 'Splinter Cell' now FIVE times and not ONCE have I grabbed ANY of the gold trophies. And I did EVERYTHING. I reloaded when I was about to die, avoided killing more than three people per level, reloaded when I had an alarm, and NEVER used a medkit. Nothing. Even tried th USB trick. Nadda. Can't believe how hard Ubisoft screwed up these trophies.
I love this series Adam. Its inspired me to go after Platinum's and I'm working on them as of now. I'm also thinking of making my own series, but it won't be anything compared to yours. Yours will always be better than anything I post that's for sure. I do have a question though; How do you get the gameplay footage from the PS3 because I can't figure it out?
I'm honored to have inspired you. Platinum Journey is only good now because I made 500 videos before it, a good half of which are terrible. I'm sure if you continue to make videos, you will greatly improve. I capture gameplay on the PS3 using an Elgato Game Capture HD - the regular version not HD60. Hard - An increasingly difficult challenge where damage taken is further increased. Expert - it's Extremely difficult where damage escalates to severe & hacking becomes more difficult.

Thank you. Yeah, I'm a big fan of Chaos Theory too. I have not checked out Blacklist. The last Splinter Cell I played was Conviction. A new game with Michael Ironside back voicing Sam is in development so I might wait to play that instead.
I see that you're a fan of the old-school sam then. Can't blame you. The voice of Eric Johnson isn't bad but it sure as hell isnt Ironside. and yeah lets hope the new game is gonna be good :)
I don't think so. PS3 didn't get trophies until 2008, Double Agent was released before then. Best thing to do is google "Splinter Cell Double Agent trophy list." I didn't find any results so it doesn't appear to have trophies.
I love your videos and the style you do them in. I was going to do something similar where I play my favorite PS3 & PS4 games and get the platinum in all off them but in a half hour let's play kind of way were I play the story getting as many as I can then streaming or just chop together the rest of the trophies, but your way is perfect
Adam McDermott you should do some easy platinums help you get more content the Jak games and the Sly games are easy enough and the infamous games also that was my plan anyway and there's plenty of games that are hard but not long to platinum any plans for future games?
That's a good idea. I tend to throw myself into these episodes and the channel lacks content because of it. After I finish this Uncharted 4 episode, I'm going to start putting up simpler videos so people don't think I've died or something. As for future games, I mentioned Uncharted 4 (almost finished btw, expect it to be released soon), I would also like to do God of War, Bioshock, The Last Guardian, and maybe DOOM this year. Things are always subject to change, but those are the shortlisted games.
Finding good images of Sam from 2005 is difficult, so I went with a more recent rendering. Blacklist is not on my list at the moment, too many multiplayer trophies.

Hi, have you thought of doing the other 2 splinter cell plats? I loved doing all 3, Pandora tomorrow maybe not so much but if you think this one shows its age then you'll laugh at the 1st game... all brilliant though, even if they are dated... I do enjoy these plat journeys, mainly because everytime you do one I've got the plat too... so it's intriguing to see how you went about it. I don't think I had an issue with the trophies on Chaos Theory, but it was that long ago I wouldn't remember 😅
