Split Cells Diagonally in Excel (Add Two Headers in Same Cell)

In this short video, I will show you how to quickly split a cell diagonally in Excel.
You can do that by applying a diagonal border in the cell that would insert the line, and then enter the text which is based in such a way that it looks like it is being separated by the diagonal line.

a bit misleading, you aren't splitting the cell and those aren't two "Headers", You can't fill the different parts of the cell with color for example. I was really hoping that was the case as an option like that would be really helpful.

I thought most knew this, was hoping for a new Excel feature that allowed this to function as two different cells (like R.5C.5 or something to that affect). Still a nice trick for aesthetics

I don't think that can be done with borders. Can be done by adding a triangle covering half the cell, but that's not a good solution

You could fill the box with 2 colors scale and try to align the colour borders with the diagonal line. I think that's the easiest and prettiest solution. With proper shading you may not even need a line when you use colors cleverly within the entire table

1. Click any cell in the table 2. Right click 3. Move down and click Table 4. Convert to range 5. A panel will pop up and click Ok. 6. Done ✅

Select the whole sheet using ctrl +A Home tab---Cells category---Click on Format option In that, you can adjust the height using Row Height option

You can also use the Zoom slider in the status bar to zoom in and out to get larger view of the sheet!!

Hey you I thought you will get 2 different cells. We know such tricks long back. Splitting cells mean you have 2 diff cells. If you have diff values formulae can be applied. Don't put over smart headings
