I loathe trundle top. Anti bruiser and tanks (most of top lane). Can't leave your lane to help team ever. Too fast to hit with skill shots if your movement is good enough (honestly doesn't even have to be that good). If jungle doesn't come top to help (which they never do) trundle is in your base.
You know what the issue with playing against trundle is? He completely kills your contribution in the game. You can never get a reliable lead vs him if you're a melee champion. Even if you get 1-2 you still get run down. Basically if you're laning vs a trundle and your team is losing, you can't do anything about it
I got m7 trundle top, and found him very fun most of the time because he has the best level 1 brute force out of any champ in the game, and you can abuse that for a lot of lvl2 kills. I also found that he can get counterpicked pretty hard, and you cant do much about it (at least I couldn't, i'm like gold level).
8:23, as he said, ranged champs suck because its hard to get on top of them and constantly auto them. vayne pushes you away, teemo blinds you and runs away with w, akshan swings away, etc...
he has a good lv 1 but its definitely not the best out of any champ. kayle and jax will absolutely crap on you since not only do they have lethal tempo like you, but they also both stack attack speed higher than you with their passives, jaxs e completely nullifies half ur autos, and kayles q can help her outmaneuver you and her e makes her able to output more dps than you on top of lethal AND her passive
Absolutely 0 counterplay. Lost to a 1/15 Trundle hullbreaker that just ended up splitting inhib tower, inhib, both nexus towers, and nexsus before we could recall from dragon.
15:27 Trundle took aggro by auto attacking Aatrox by mistake when he jumped over the tower with his last Q, i had to replay a couple times to notice lol
Just played ranked as aatrox vs trundle top. I couldnt kill him, he couldnt kill me at all, so he just built hull and made me go 2/3/5 when my teammates were like 10/9/8
His counters are like Volibear's, ranged champions who beat the crap out of you kiting in early game and you really can't do anything about it and jax. Jax just beats you really hard if you don't fight really well lol. But if you play it well you win against any melee champ and need to have 2 enemies constantly, if the enemy can't one shot you under tower you just break everything lol
I find Akali and Gwen to be the most troubling matchups. Haven't faced Voli yet, I'd assume it is Trundle favoured at first, but I can see how such assumption would be wrong. Jax has the edge because of the counter-strike, which is a big deal, but I feel like you can realisticly play around it and, if successful, you destroy him afterwards. Malphite is probably tough too thanks to the armor stack and attack speed slow, but I feel like there's room to beat and snowball on him early. I'm not experienced enough to know for sure though. I thought about Approach Velocity when facing ranged champions, but then you can't take second wind without going Unsealed Spellbook or something like that. I'd say Gwen and Akali are unplayable, Malphite, Jax, Singed and the ranged champions are difficult, Kled, Udyr, Warwick, Tahm Kench, Illaoi and Volibear might be difficult but I haven't played to confirm and everybody else varies from neutral to Trundle favoured.
You don't take second wind with Trundle anyways. In ranged match ups I recommend spamming ask for a gank and just sitting under turret perma freezing, no possibele way to win a 1v1 without good circumstances@@shacolin6546

his q mana cost got reduced and his AD growth got buffed. that plus sidelane turrets give more gold now. i've also been playing trundle top since ages ago and now it kinda sucks because he's always either banned or picked lmao

Was exactly going to say that lol. I have a teamate that picked it yesterday and I was like in NO WORLD does rammus W can win him the lane. Trundle R is just made for that, so is botrk. Ofc rammus went 0-5-0 with 40 cs to 120cs.@@ogRockets
since i started learning trundle i've lost to: Akali, Teemo, Jax, Malphite while feeling like i can't do anything myself. Pillar? Akali goes invisible, Teemo blinds you, Jax goes untouchable, Malphite throws the disc and runs away because that ability is balanced. It feels significantly worse than my normal pick, Shyvana.
I suggest vs these matchups go for max q first then max e and cdr build boots etc peel team and try to pick some1 with your pillars slow also op incresed max rank (dont play lethal tempo with that tactic because you go in q and go back to peel again ,, grasp vs melee tanky or gp, pta vs squishy and vs range ap like kennen vlad lulu karma and jayce go fleet footwork
You should never lose to malphite. Malph has no wave clear. Shove wave roam to invade jungler. Malph gets stuck under tower all game. If he teleports to another lane or bad recall you take tower in 30 seconds.
@@herpderp66 He have a lot of wave clear with E + W, what you mean? His W is literally a Titanic Hydra xD. And you also can't ever dive him cause it's a Malphite.. That's why he's S+ with more than 52% w/r and is the strongest tank to go against almost any AD champion. He just sits there, clear the waves, go at the very least even with you in lane and then go group and team fight after.. You can't get an advantage in lane vs Malphite, unless you're in low elo obviously. That goes for almost any AD champion you pick against him, excluding only Darius and Olaf, that's literally it, it's the only 2 champs that can kill him by running him down a couple of times and get a lead before lvl 6 with ghost then beat him all game. Other champions will not have the dmg to kill him before 6 and after 6 he's unkillable forever for most and untill late game for some like Fiora, Tundle, Camille.. To beat Malphite you have to play an AP champion or else you'll go even with him. He doesn't win the lane very hard against anyone, but he for damn sure doesn't loose against anyone either, never ever, not a single time you'll win against him playing anyone that's a mlee AD champion other than Darius and Olaf and I'm a GM player that have seen, tried and gotten peoples opinions on how to beat him a lot. Everyone agrees that the only way is: > Darius, >Olaf, > AP champion or something like "yolo Vayne top and hope their jungle is braindead and doesn't comes top ever or I'll be fucked". You may ask why isn't he OP and/or the most hated top lanner if that's the case? Well.. He is.. But talking about why he doesn't have an even higher w/r than that, it's cause even tho he doesn't hard loose, he doesn't hard win most matchups either, meaning the other top can get out of the lanning phase beeing still somewhat usefull. He also depends a lot of his teamates to be abble to play into the mid/late game aaand the biggest reason of them all for not a higher w/r. Most people, specially the good players, just don't like playing a braindead champion like Malphite and prefer going something more fun to play instead. But still, he is OP and his w/r that's made mostly by autofills tilted people and such, can already show you that. Even I sometimes pick Malphite when I'm tilted out of my mind and I asure you that you just cannot loose your lane with it, even if you're ganked early, even if you fuck your base and get freezed on in the first couple of waves, you still can play just by staying in XP range, cause that's all that matters. Then you get to 6, never get dove, buy your cheap tank itens that costs way less than the bruiser's and done, you're even with the other guy and he can't kill you.
absolutely hate playing against trundle top. so unbelievably broken champ design. you got ad? ah no you havent. You got resistances? Ah, no sir. You can move? ah no you cant. YOu have hp? Let me bonk you a few times
15:28 is reason why I stopped playing league, like I'm playing league for ages and stuff like this happens I don't know how I take agro or enemies randomly seeing me in stealth...
@@strykerfielding3430 you can see his hp go down but you can also see the dmg amount, he is doing 158 dmg to the tower and when he aa the aatrox (lol) by mistake its 122 dmg
You dont just randomly take tower aggro, there is always a reason behind it. And for the last part I really cant comment because that just sounds so dumb. People dont see you in stealth EVER, unless you walk close, are revealed by some ability or you canceling it.
