They are both great dancers. But I have to go with Momoko. Her movements are fluid and she looks like she’s having such a great time, I feel like I experience the moments with her. Plus her smile makes me want to hug her!
i've seen momoko live and she has pure star talent. she interacts with the audience and is such a friendly person. she kept looking at me and smiling and tried to engage every single audience member into the action. she radiates fun and energy. i think that's what being a performer is all about. in my opinion, riho is a sharp dancer, but her performance and connection arent really present. when i saw riho she just acts like this is her job and momoko radiates that she just loves what she does. i still really respect riho and think she is a fantastic dancer. i would love to see momoko as a permanent member!
I noticed that Riho's dancing seems much sharper and precise. Her lipsync is also spot on. Momoko seems more natural and freer with her movements. And while Momoko's lipsync isn't as precise as Riho, Momoko smiles a lot more.
I actually prefer Riho. I think she's more precise in everything she does, and I don't think the lack of smiling really matters all that much either. Yui was the same way and she was a massive fan favorite. I just think the experience and skill level of Riho is better suited. But I think considering what happened with Yui and the 2018 debacle, it wouldn't be right to just pursue a 3 part team unless you just kept momoko around as a backup. Bring her out for special songs or performances maybe. But Riho is already up there career wise. I think making her a permanent 3rd would be better. Momoko can go and build her experience. I get Koba's logic with the avengers, but it just doesn't fit with just moa pulling the leg work
@bennitori4 ... Exactly what i was going to say. We're both thinking & looking at the same perspective here...its hard to choose between both of them because they have their own style...and both of them fits Babymetal well 🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻
With her prodigious voice and presence, it is easy to overlook how good a dancer SU is!!!! They are all so precise. That is A Lot of choreo to learn for a 90 min set!!!!
Riho is like a Japanese sword that can be cut spaciously, Momoko is like a fur that wraps softly and supplely, Both are good ;) 鞘師はスパスパと小気味よく切れる名刀のよう 岡崎は柔らかくしなやかに包み込む毛皮のよう どっちも良いね。
Riho appears to be the better dancer but from the looks of things, Momoko radiates a more friendly/ enjoyable vibe, plus you can see that Momoko seems to have a better friendship/ connection with Moa and Su (Moa and Momoko hold hands properly when turning, and more smiles are exchanged). So obviously both Riho and Momoko have great pros (and some cons) - hopefully the chosen avenger is someone who overall makes the band happier and not just the fans :)
While I like Momo a lot, and she certainly looks more energetic, I wish Riho was made the new member. Don't get me wrong, Momo more than deserved the 3rd spot, but Riho is a close friend of Su's. Riho is now on her solo carrier, with some nice dancing along her good singing...
In my opinion: Riho is sharper and more precise with her movements and has a stronger foot on the ground but to me she always looks like she's sweating more than the rest and trying to catch her breath. Momoko seems more relaxed with her movements and brings a more "fun" energy to the group with that constant smile she always wears but lacks that extra snap that Riho nails. I like them both
They're both so good! But I'll give the edge to Momoko because (a) Riho's movements are a bit too stiff while Momoko is more fluid (b) Momoko actually looks like she's really enjoying the performance from beginning to end and (c) Momoko is more engaging with her audience. So yeh, Momoko's got my vote all the way!!
Momoko was a huge fan of Babymetal long before she got to perform with them (and later becoming a full member). She clearly loves performing with Babymetal while with the other Avengers it may have served more as a springboard to other ventures or as a temporary gig. Obviously there's nothing wrong with that but they probably wouldn't have made for great candidates to become new members of BM if they weren't fully committed. So yes; Momometal all the way 😊
A precious footage in the history of BABYMETAL👍 Now knowing how they felt in this period I'm happy Su and Moa decided to keep going on. Welcome Momometal🤘🍑🤘
Riho es una excelente bailarina, más precisa que Momoko sin duda, pero Momoko está disfrutando y divirtiéndose en el escenario. Y eso te integra más a la escena y quieres ver más.
If I could choose it would be Momoko. She's happy and make the other ones smiling too. But yes the hairstyle of the adventures are really cute, but don't suit Momoko and Riho because both have a really round face this way.
@@lghths Both of them said that. But Kano was the one who responded immediately by saying she wanted to be in Babymetal when asked what club she wanted to be in. Momoko chimed in by saying "I would want that too."
Haha nearly identical, both excellent dancers, both learned the choreography perfectly. Koba was wise to not pick just one, as you can see fans taking sides when it's not needed.
Speaking of Riho and Momoko, Riho is releasing her debut EP "DAYBREAK" on August 6, while the first episode of GP999 where Momoko is participating is also on August 6! Please support them!
Riho is and always was an extremely good dancer, I'm happy to see her getting even better, but there's one thing she can't do: let go. She is perfect indeed, but she lacks the humanity, fluidity and warmth other can have because she holds in too much. Her movements are sharper, on perfect rhythm, it's beautiful to see, but it lacks something: life. I don't really know this Momoko but even if she's less sharp, she's just more lively. I was really hoping this years in America will let her have this looseness she needs but I understand it's not that easy, to let go... :'(
As a non-dancer I can't really see a huge difference in their dancing skills, so for me it's all about mood. Moa, Su and Momoko all looked a lot happier in their side of the video. They might have just been in better moods, or had a more energetic audience, or they just enjoy dancing with Momoko more. I have no idea what was the reason, but if I had to pick which version of Babymetal I'd want to see, it'd 1000% be the group that's smiling and looking like they're having a lot of fun, rather than the more serious and focused group.
I dunno, I'm kinda high right now.... they are so equal in skillz.... I'm glad I didn't have to make the choice..... assuming there was actual competition between the two.. I don't think there was...I love MOMOMETAL!!!!!
I say momoko live and she seems really happy that the audience also cheers for her. I think she would appreciate it sooo much to be a permanent part of the band!!!
I at first. . can’t watch anybody but Su. She looks like this must be her favorite song/ dance!. . She is beaming!!! Riho/ Momoko are both gr8! Watching either of them is a treat! . . But at the end of the day. . . I miss Yui. Hope they are all well and happy now and 4 ever. Kitsunes up.🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
Tough one here but Riho just has a better feel to her. Momoko looks likes she having a blast...well they all do with this song. Can only imagine how amazing this would be with Yui.
Babymetal is a metal band, so you don't really need a perfect dancer. Provided they can do it happily, I think that's enough. Riho and Momoko are both very good dancers.
Both are good dancers, but I think all the choreographies look more synchronized when MomokoMetal is on stage. PERSONALLY , I would not like anyone to have a microphone, I like that Babymetal only focuses on Su-metal and Moa-metal.
i believe what’s more important for performing with baby metal is the bond between the avenger and the duo. if they don’t get along well, it’s not going to look good. you can tell that momoko has a better bond and has more fun with them & riho is more serious. :0
Here's a thought... the future success of Babymetal lies in further evolution of style, experiment, and collaboration, not in becoming a 'tribute act' to their teenage selves. However 'kawaii' the replacement for Yui is, its not the way. Also as Metal Galaxy already shows, Sumetal is the voice of Babymetal, and Moa is the choreographer. For the moment she's happy with that. If Moa wants a real singing career (more than "scream and dance") it will not be in Babymetal. I think Yui realised this, her wish to be a singer in her own right would never be fulfilled within Babymetal. And the Avengers will know this too. Their individual talents will always be third on the pedestal behind Su and Moa, unless Momoko and Riho suddenly reveal themselves as a sensational guitarist and bassist. In the short term they deserve the fans, the tours, the experience, the money, but they'll know when its time for them to move on, and so will the Fox God.
Cant do it.seems like Rhio has more stage time as well as she performed in VEGAS(702 REP) very well.yeah riho only because its my honor to had the privledge to be in the HIGHNESSES precence.
I think it has a lot to do with personality and experience. They're both good in their own ways. Riho is more intense due to experience and reminds me of yui a bit, momoko is more gentle but yet still so swift, very smoooth and her moves are still satisfying, reminds me of younger babymetal...because duh...Sakura Gakuin lol. Which is fun and how i feel the choreography should be. Momoko doesnt seem to do it as a job, but for fun. Its bittersweet for me. A different but good vibe from both. It depends on the song imo. Riho owned BMC but this one is momoko's. But all in all, theyre both giving their all in each song. Koba/mikiko did a good job choosing the dancers. They were definitely going for something different for all of the avengers! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
