Would not want to leave this space for anything..just to dream about places that look like these garden rooms..takes a lots of work to bring this into reality.
👏👏👏 Honest to goodness, just watching was so Spiritually meditative, a wish, a dream, a huge blessing and amazing job! I wish it could be shrunken and plonked right in my much smaller back yard! And what a lovely humble gentleman, probably because he is in his own little slice of Heaven! A big congrats, you deserve to enjoy and THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING, YOUR OWN PRIVATE OASIS 🤗🤗🤗
If you move into a place with a boring backyard, wait until you have used the space for a while before deciding what areas of the garden to make seating areas, play areas etc
Apart from the obvious, like planting windbreaks, there are some stunning landscapes in windy places which you can take inspiration from, from the ocean to the Alps. Fiona Brockoff's seaside garden is a great example
Beautiful. I’ve begun a similar concept using various hedges of camellia, white lavender and snowball viburnums to create rooms and privacy out front yard and back. We have a large front yard that is a joyous blank canvas for a passionate gardener... we too went with no lawn out front and plan to remove the straggly grass out back around pool. I love creating rooms. We’ve just moved in here a year ago and planted hedges this past month so they’re only a few centimetres high 😂 but in time the rooms will look fabulous. I took from your garden the idea of adding some large leaf tropicals as it’s very shady out front. It’s a lovely look you’ve created. We have a small pond/fountain not yet installed. Seeing yours I’m wondering if we could add goldfish to it. Will have to research their needs. Thanks for this inspirational video 😍👍
That is just gorgeous, love it. and to think its in the Barossa as well, not far from where I live...would be nice to do something like that at my place.
You have created a marvelous work of art in your garden sir. Unique in designs, kind to nature & so beneficial for man's peace of mind. I just love to be in places like this. Thanks!
